  nice family owned business

  Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff (primarily the owner/family), delicious breakfast, outdoor seating. Difficult place to park, rooms are relatively small. Very appropriate location and setting for family with children. Away from major tourist spots but very accessible to Locarno, Ascona, etc.

  Very small room, no AC or fan or window screens, good breakfast and great view of the lake

  We stayed two nights in a "mountain view room" (#57) in the upper building of the hotel, which had a "view" of the bumper of a car in the upper parking lot. The room was the smallest one during our two week trip through Switzerland and the Italian lakes and definitely a 2-star -- no higher, although with all the hotel's features, the hotel itself is probably a 4-star establishment. Without AC, a fan, or the ability to open windows without letting mosquitoes in (we tried), it was very hot (79 - 84 degrees according to my clock/thermometer) and uncomfortable. Except for an early morning barking dog, the area was quiet. The room was crowded with a luggage rack, wardrobe with lots of real hangers, a cabinet with a safe, small table with TV and lamp, two chairs, a double bed and poor lighting. The very small bathroom had a small shower with excellent hot water, 2 sets of smallish towels, liquid soap, and smaller amenities. Wifi was satisfactory. The drive to the hotel was challenging and without a GPS would have been more so. Being in the upper building, we parked in the narrow space in the upper lot. The walk from the upper building to the lower one goes through a pretty garden area. The view from the dining area is gorgeous. We enjoyed the generous breakfasts there and one light meal. The reception staff were gracious. Parking is extra. The hotel has a large pool and spa area so there are clearly amenities we did not use. Given that Switzerland is expensive, this hotel is a relative bargain. Unfortunately, with no respite from the heat, we did not enjoy the room as we might have under better weather conditions.

  hotel with beautiful view

  we stayed two nights in the Garden Hotel Dellavalle. the view over the lake is amazing. the service is very polite and helpful. we were even able to rent bikes for free from the hotel. at the check-in is a lack of information. sadly there is not giving any information about parking, pool, the surroundings, etc. however, we had a great stay at this hotel!

  Top quality service ! Excellent food - also gluten and lactose-free food to enjoy ! Beautiful

  We chose this hotel for the possibility to have gluten and lactose-free food, as well as for the beautiful view over the lake. The service was excellent, everybody very nice and giving their best so as to make your stay wonderful. We appreciated attention given to detail, such as the welcome card in our room, the care for our well-being and comfort. Enjoy the swimming pool, dining with a wonderful view, or the fitness facilities. We were pampered and loved it ! We highly recommend this hotel, you will experience a very nice stay and enjoy the wonderful region and its "dolce vita" !

  Most beautiful view, extremely friendly and caring service, delicate and fein food served with a smile!

  We booked into the Garden Hotel Dellavalle for 3 nights and extended another night!! This hotel is very clean, in a most fantastic position overlooking palm trees, the view extends over the lake into Italy with snow peaked mountains in the distance (spring time) the service is extremely friendly and given with a smile by everyone involved. Owners as well as check-in staff, cleaning staff and of course the waiters who spoiled us in the very beautiful dining room overlooking the lake. The chef needs to be commended for his 5course fine food meals every night! I and my elderly mum are very thankful for such a wonderful holiday experience only to be recommended to our friends.
