    Dirty

    We arrived very late during the COVID-19 pandemic...so one would think things would be very clean. Nope. The room was filthy. The bathroom had something brown on the countertop, mirrors dirty, hairs all over bathroom. Not a great experience as compared to what we are used to having with Hilton.

    Property needs cleaning

    Room is nice, but hallways and terrace area are dirty and unkept. Bags of trash sitting in elevator entrances at 8 pm, plus dirty linens laying in hallways as well. Hilton Garden Inns continue to have fire pit problems on their patios.

    Filthy- dont believe the stars rating right now! Must have different staff now.

    Rates of COVID are high in Shelby County right now however, dont expect to have clean sheets on your bed or anything else clean at this hotel. I pulled back the top cover to reveal a million little hairs underneath and my side table was sticky with rings.

    Ratings Are A LIe!!!

    I stayed at this hotel on business from October 4th thru the 17th - this was the worst stay at a hotel that I have ever experienced. They are using the excuse of the Covid to not clean this is the very reason why they should be stepping up on their cleaning routine. The entire time I had no room service, which I can understand however when a guest is staying for 2 weeks, clean towels and toilet paper should not be an option they should be a given. I was working long days only to come back to a dirty hotel room. I had to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper (last I checked there was no longer a shortage). I also had to ask for towels......I was told I would receive them and never did. Hated my stay here! The one star was given only due to the fact that I actually had a bed to sleep in - regardless that the sheets were NEVER changed! Worst hotel stay ever - keep scrolling and find somewhere else to stay.

    Worst visit to date

    I have stayed in this several times since the onset of COVID. This has always been a nice stay. I typically take advantage of the early check-in feature on the Hilton App. I always choose the same room (519). This visit was no different. However, it would not go as planned. I indicated when checking in that it would be after 8:00 pm. When I arrived, the time was 9:45. When I went to the app, I noticed the my room number had been changed. When asking Simeon (Asst. Manager) what was going, he stated that 519 was not available. The family that was in the room decided to stay another night. I asked why wasnt informed. Simeon offered no explanation and never apologized for the inconvenience. He was completely nonchalant about it. I choose that room and that floor for a reason. Then we are put in a smaller room(514). By this time, its now after 10:00 pm. Then we were moved to 520 because it was supposed to be a better room. However, its not! After finally getting in the room, getting settled and disinfecting the room, I decided to get in the shower and try and relax and salvage what little time I have with my daughters. Only to get in the shower and it is covered in hair that doesnt belong to me or my girls. Not only was it everywhere in the shower, it was in all three of the big towels. It was completely disgusting. I had to wait until my daughter went down stairs to get fresh towels before I could dry off. So Im standing there freezing. This night one and Im already not happy! Right now I dont feel valued as a customer. You took my money but didnt provide any of what I requested and then put my girls and me in a filthy room.
