  Cheap, but the quality is not good...

  Very well located (close to - walking distance to most of them -: Yanchengpu MRT Station, Love Pier, Cijin, Holy Rosary Cathedral), is a good option to someone who doesn´t want to spend much. Nevertheless, you should not expect much of the hotel. Although clean, old fashioned rooms, grimy bathroom (sink and shower curtains, especially) and curtains that don´t work after sunshine. It worths only if you solely intend to spend one or two nights there. Nothing else.

  Good area, nice staff

  The hotel is well located near fishermans wharf and near the MRT stop. When we checked In we were given free breakfast (to celebrate CNY) which wasn't originally included. However, we were told we would need to pay 250 NT dollars for towels which was disappointing ( as most give you them for free). Breakfast was pretty average, but can't complain as it was free :).

  Single Male Room

  I arrived for check-in but all the ladies in the front spoke no English. They were some confusion checking in because I was staying in a single room, which I booked. The male single room was in the building next door up a flight of stairs which didn't have an elevator so I had to lug my luggage up which was a pain. The room is quite small, barely enough room to open your luggage. I am used to sleeping on a futon on the floor in Japan but the beds here were firm and uncomfortable so I didn't sleep very well. There is also a 1 cm gap from the door and floor so you can hear all the noise in the building. I didn't have neighbors for 2 nights here so it was quiet. The towel they give is so small you need like 8 of them to equal a regular bath towel. I don't know why they give you a towel a size of a facial towel here. The location is 200 m from the MRT, but there isn't much food or stores in the area. You have to walk 10 minutes to McDonald's or 7-11.

  CP value is high

  cheap and clean. I booked this hotel when I booked the high speed train from Taipei to Kaohsiung. The price is quite the same when you only booked train tickets because the discount. So that is why I said CP value is very high.
