  The worst hotel in England

  I have been staying in hotels as part of my job, ever since around 1983. In all of this time, I have never stayed in such a s###hole as the Allesley. Dirty, and full of dropouts. I cannot imagine why anyone in their right mind would post a positive review on this place, it really is the pits. Sleep in your car, under a hedge. Anywhere but here.

  Inadequate and Rude

  Room 103 Positives - Warm room - Clean Bedding and Towels - Met Basic requirements of having a place to crash - Could make a brew in the morning - Nice welcoming pub at the Rainbow Inn Negatives - Bathroom was disgusting, holes in the walls and doors - When you used the sink it was not draining properly, and slowly dripped on to the floor - Couldnt use the bath, no bath plug - Shower was unusable - Couldnt purchase drinks due to a separate function on - Was told we were not allowed to sit in the reception talking with friends and got told to sit in our room - Room smely fusky - Carpet was not laid properly and was wrinkled at one end and had no carpet at the other - Window Frames rotted Paid £55 for a night and it was shocking, more like a £25 per night standard. I let reception know of the faults and the response was 'oh sorry'. Would not book again, quite clearly they are trying to renovate and build on improving the hotel but needs more than just a lick of paint to improve the hospitality.

  Buyer beware - hotel used as bail and honeless hostel

  This hotel is in terrible dilapidated condition throughout. There is a large number of homeless people housed here as well as being used as a bail hostel. Very noisy at night, and dubious safety. Frequent emergency service call outs with residents setting off fire alarms smoking drugs in corridors. Really think again before staying here.

  Disgusting, Vile, Incompetent Staff, Filthy. Should be condemned. First room I was given, I opened the door and there was someone in the bed!!!! Second room had someone staying in it and wow was it a mess!! Receptionist then went through all the rooms to find 1 that was available (what if there is a fire!!!!). She gave me a room that was......... well a room. Promising to bring me a key card up. The bathroom had a toilet that wasnt fixed to the wall or floor. Holes and mould everywhere. Disgusting. I went off in search of a key card and asked 1 of the staff if they could get me 1. She then started speaking to what I can only imagine was a manager (mismanager) who proceeded to shout at her, told her not to p***s me off or you get this!!!!!!!! And slapped her. In all my life Ive never seen or stayed in anything so disgusting.

  AVOID AT ALL COSTS

  This place is a shambles from start to finish. We held an event at the hotel and the communication from the management there is despicable. They really have no care for you or your guests and will do anything to get your money, They were threatening us on the morning of our event even when we agreed terms way in advance adding stress to what should have been a very special day. The actual venue is disgusting and we were made a lot of promises - none of which came to fruition and like others, failed to let us know they hadn't renewed their venue licence because they FAILED Health and Safety checks so we couldn't get married there. Thank god the Registrar let us know otherwise they probably would never have told us - turns out they did this to everyone. No compensation offered and no remorse from them either. I can only echo the other reviews of this hotel and registar suggest anyone even thinking about staying here or holding an event here to AVOID. They are thieves and ruined what should have been the happiest day of our lives. Ravi and Suneel - you should be ashamed of yourselves!
