  Quiet and very comfortable

  A very pleasant hotel situated in a quiet countryside area. Room was good with comfortable beds and breakfast and dinner were very good. Isolation of the hotel could be a problem as buses to town are often only hourly and it can take an hour to get to the centre of Prague. Also hotel staff not available at all times and restaurant closed Mondays and tuesdays.

  Outstanding!

  As we were travelling through Czech Republic , we wanted to visit Prague as well, naturally! We were travelling by car (my husband, me and five-year old daughter). We wanted to stay in the centre of Prague, but the prices are usually higher if you want decent accommodation and you need to pay for the parking. So we chose Alt Pension, which is in the outskirts of Prague, actually it looks like a small village near Prague. At the moment we came in the yard and parked our car we were happy and thrilled. The yard and the garden is beautiful. Car is safe beacuse there is fence and it is closed. There is children playgraound. everything is so nice, cosy and quiet, very idilic. Our room was overlooking the garden and it was actually in this yard...we had an entrance from the garden. The room was big, beautiful, clean, cosy, nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our daughter had an extra bed and we had really enough space. The bathroom was big enough and really clean. In the vestibule there was a kettle and tea. The great part of the whole stay play the owners. They are great hosts, really helpful, nice, informative. As we came there on Easter Sunday everything was closed so the landlady prepared us dinner which was delicious. That first day, they even offered us some money to borrow until we change it in some exchange office. Really nice! Breakfast was tasty, buffet. The Pansion has a restaurant with a nice terrace. The owner gave us so much useful information about Prague, transport, money... The property is far from the Prague but as we had a car, we parked the car on parking place near this Pansion Alt ( and it was really cheap)!) and there was great connection by underground to the centre of Prague. You take the train in green line and it takes you right to the centre. We got these instructions from the owner! so in this case, I can even say that the location is great as well. Because, wherever we stayed in the centre we would need the public transport..and we would have to pay parking. The ride took us 20 minutes approximately. To conclude; it is great accommodation, we were happy that we chose it and we would definitely recommend it!

  Great stay

  We had a wonderful stay at alt-pensiom. The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast room and garden is lovely. The owners are very friendly, kind and speaks English and German. The house dog and cat is very cute. Parking space. The price is very low for such quality. Highly recommended !

  Great host, very polite and helpful. Room was great, very big with a great garden view. Little bit far from town center, you need to drive for 20-30 minutes,or take the bus to get to the hart of Prague.

  great piecefull location but higher price

  + piecefull location outside of Prague + big garden + rather big room and bathroom + free parking and wi-fi - price is rather high with no breakfast - room wall too thin, you can hear guests from next room
