  Divine mountain energy

  We Were 10 persons on a course on this hotel. We used livingroom in a 2 room apartment as course room, but also used garden, swimmingpool area for course exercises. Divine quietness for the Whole course, and 5 minutes to Wonderful supermarket - and 5-7 minutes to 6-7 tavernas in aptera town. We tried cretan Dance night , local dancers dancing with the guests ( each saturday kl 20 ) at cretan corner, 5 min from hotel, and it was out in the country with all the locals, and the best Greek Dance Night we have tried. On our first Night in room 11, we regretted we had not bought tzatziki and a little glass of Wine. Sitting with our dinner out to the swimmingpool, the hotel owner came with tzatziki and retsina for our table. Like she had read our minds :-) and best tzatziki and retsina we have tried. The hotel owner and her son costas, Were really warm hearted hosts. Good Beaches in short driving distance from hotel.

  Perfect relaxing spot

  Great spot for relaxing your mind and body. Beautiful beach, crystal clean waters, great infrastructure and good service. Free wifi as a bonus, was nice as well. A good range of drinks and snacks from the bar.

  Amazing Place.

  Kostas' place was absolutely amazing. The view from our balcony was stunning; totally worth the climb of several steep hills to get there!! The apartment was super clean, and was cleaned every two or three days, to a really high standard I must add! The pool was also super clean, but was very cold!! Kostas' was a lovely host, and always said hello when we passed. The pool area was very quiet - most of the time it was just my sister and I there. Lovely nevertheless. The rooms were a good size, and were equipped with everything we'd need. The only thing that would have been nice would be a full length mirror, but we coped with the one in the bathroom :). As I previously mentioned, super clean. Air conditioning was a welcome addition too! Brilliant value for money. Within walking distance (a hill!!) was a small local store, which sells all of the essentials. Then a bit further along the road were a couple of tavernas, both of which served lovely meals and were really friendly! My sister and I didn't hire a car because we were too young, but it didn't prove to be too much of a problem. A 15 minute walk away (also a hill!!) was the bus stop of Megala Khorafia Cross where the KTEL bus service would run to the centre of Chania every hour. About a 25 minute journey, 2.10. It was nice to visit Chania, a touristy city, but also return to the peace and quiet of Aptera Paradise. My sister and I also decided to visit Ancient Aptera, and we walked to this too. 2km away, up a hill, took about 40 minutes. Well worth it though, the views were stunning. Probably more doable with a car, but not impossible by foot. Also visited Elafonisi Beach using the bus services. Beautiful, and well worth doing. All in all, I have no hesitations in recommending Aptera Paradise. See the photos for yourself. Stunning.

  Una semana inmejorable

  Hemos pasado una semana en los apartamentos y todo ha sido genial. El apartamento tiene unas vistas espectaculares, estaba impecablemente limpio (nos han cambiado varias veces las sábanas y toallas) y la piscina es muy agradable, con tumbonas para poderte relajar tras un día de playa. El único inconveniente es que es necesario alquilar un coche ya que es un poco difícil sin él. El apartamento está situado a aproximadamente 15 minutos de La Canea, una pequeña ciudad de costa que no podéis dejar de visitar. Muchas gracias a Vicky y su familia por hacer nuestra estancia mucho más agradable. Volveremos seguro.

  Best Vacations ever

  Eleven people we have been at Aptera Paradise for our summer holidays. It was an amazing experience since Costas and Mrs. Vaso, the owners, are excellent hosts and they provided us the best they could. New and big apartments, clean rooms, nice furniture and clean pool, at a friendly price. Wonderful experience which led to the best holidays ever. We will be back for every time we are going to visit Crete. Thank you a lot!
