  Frikes is a seaside port that is popular with the yachties in summer. Accommodation was convenient for catching the morning ferry. Room clean with with kitchen and a good view of the sea from balcony. Pool wonderful.

  A sleepy paradise

  I've been in Ithaca in august 2017 with an accommodation in Frikes, one of the smallest but most beautiful places of the island. Aristotelis Apartments are a wonderful relaxing oasi next to the beach: my and my friends had a 2 floors apartment, with a wonderful private terrace on the top of the building where having meals looking at the sea. The view is just amazing. The place is quite and clean and there's everything you'd need. The owner is really kind and helpful with everything, he will arrange everything you'll need and make his own best to make you enjoy your staying. There is also a private swimming pool and a barbecue area, but Ithaca is so much beautiful that everybody goes outside the apartments discovering the wild island as soon as they can. Aristotelis Apartments are perfect for every kind of people who'd like to visit Ithaca. I suggest this place in the best way I can. And enjoy the magic of Ithaca, guys.

  Beautiful view, peace and quiet, well equipped apartments, friendly host

  Aristotelis was very helpful with information about the ferry connections before we arrived. A nice and honest man who cares about the customers. Aristotelis Apartments is located in the wonderful small village Frikes, a very beautiful and quiet place. We stayed for 6 days in room number 3 which had a large balcony with beautiful view. The room was spacious, had everything we needed and more, and everything was well functioning. There was air condition, but we didnt need to use it. The television worked. The wifi worked. There were mosquitoes nets in all the windows so we could leave them open at night. There was a complimentary bottle of cold water for us in the fridge, when we arrived. The bathroom was a little small but functioning. There was always hot water. Only a 1 minute walk to the bakery and a 2 minutes walk to the harbour of Frikes with a mini market, cafés and restaurants. We can recommend the restaurant Odysseus Restaurant which is located on the waterfront in Frikes and has really good traditional food. There are severel small beaches in walking distance from Aristotelis Apartments. The perfect place for a stay in Frikes! There was nothing we didnt like, only a few things could have been a little better: The access to the room next to room number 3 was through the balcony, so we didnt have a completely private balcony but we didnt mind. Aristotelis offered that we could move to a better and more private room, but we liked number 3 and stayed there. Aristotelis told us that the next improvement he was planning would be to build one more access so all the rooms would have a private balcony. The layout of the bathroom was a little strange and there was water on the bathroom floor after a shower but there was a floor mop to clean up with. These were only minor issues and we would love to come back to Frikes and stay at Aristotelis Apartments again!

  Top destination of ithaca with excellent price ! Aristotelis is amazing, very friendly and polite! Always available when we needed something ...Very clean apartments! A must !!! I m back next year... same place!

  Espantoso...

  La ubicación es buena si quieres alojarte en el norte de la isla, ya que está a dos minutos andando del centro de Frikes, de los restaurantes y el supermercado, pero los apartamentos son terribles. El mobiliario, de tan viejo y usado, está tan roñoso que da prevención tocarlo. El baño, viejísimo también, es absolutamente impracticable: enano, sin bañera ni plato de ducha, tiene un sumidero en una esquina para que se vaya el agua cuando te duchas, así que todo queda totalmente encharcado. Las camas durísimas. La mini cocina no la usamos porque todo estaba viejo y sucio. La atención mala, el propietario no te resuelve absolutamente nada (le echa la culpa de todo a las limpiadoras, como si no fuera responsabilidad suya!). Nuestro apartamento estaba lleno de hormigas. Ah, y si te toca alojarte arriba tendrás que cargar con la maleta por bastantes escaleras. Hotel de categoría de un albergue (malo) para backpackers a 100 euros la noche, sin desayuno, sin que te hagan la cama y sin que te cambien las toallas ni te repongan el papel higiénico, a no ser que lo pidas reiteradamente. Fue una lástima porque empañó un poco nuestra estancia en una isla tan preciosa.
