Mayo Clinic visitWhen we arrived after 4pm we entered the room and it was dirty. Macaroni pieces on the floor, red sticky handprints on our bedroom door, shower with pink mold, milk stained couch and crumbs, and the list goes on. I was not feeling well and called to have somebody come to clean the room but was told that they had gone home but a vacuum was by the front desk if I wanted to come get it. We got our 2 night stay on Booking.com and had prepaid. I took my own wipes and sanitized what I could and talked to the head of cleaning the next morning. She tried to get us a refund but we had prepaid and told that we would be contacted for a free nights stay in the future. This never happened. The location is the best but during covid and a Mayo Clinic patient it should be much cleaner than what we had. We were there Sept 19th to 21st.

Great location, nice rooms, poor care/cleanlinessGreat location, close to desert ridge within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shops. Rooms are very nice and hotel is nice as well. Due to covid they are not having someone come and clean everyday and you have to ask for your towels by 12pm. So no matter how long your stay, your room does not get cleaned. Our tub would not drain and our toilet/couch and some other areas were not clean. Pool was okay nothing extravagant and hot tub was broken. I personally dont know if I will book at this hotel again, but its a cheap stay if thats what you are looking for.

Only One Major IssueThe room was great, as were the bathroom facilities; neat, clean, quiet, great flat screen TV, WiFi, Keurig coffeemaker and more. However, the over powering smell of raw sewerage in the lobby was terrible. Thankfully, no smell in the room. When I approached the registration desk, I was happy to have to wear a mask due to Covid 19. The agent explained the hotel was built over the end of a sewer line and the hotel was trying to remedy the situation. Upon check-out, the new agent explained that the hotel was working to correct the problem. I sure hope so. What a disgusting turn off.

Great hotel, great outdoor spacesStayed 2 nights with school-age kids. Room is clean and spacious. The lounge by the window is longer than the bed, so you could sleep on it comfortably; it would be much more comfortable than an average hotel sleeper sofa. The outdoor fire place and the pool deck areas are perfect. We ordered delivery both nights and ate outside. The laundry room was clean and right by the front desk. The set of machines is newer and its $2 to wash and $2 to dry. If youre a coffee snob, BYO k-cup capsules; the in-room option wasnt very good.

Most uncomfortable experienceMy boyfriend and I just needed a place for the night and found this pet friendly option. I contacted the location on the phone and booked thru a second party. The price was near $180 and for what I paid, Im extremely disappointed. I really wish I would have booked with the holiday inn express next door 1) I booked for a king bed room and when I returned to the desk the gentleman there became disgruntled with me, stating I did not. I calmly told him I did as I would never book for two doubles. He retailiated with well did you go in the other room because then we will have to clean it ? I told him I looked inside but wasnt sure what my boyfriend did as I was down here at the desk trying to remedy the problem. He sighed and basically rolled his eyes at me He did fix the problem but I was made to be felt badly about their mistake. Not great customer service. 2) I brought my dog and was told on the phone the pet fee was 20 dollars. When I arrived I was told 30 dollars. When I asked what the fee covered the same unpleasant man who I had mentioned above told me, in a rude tone, um it covers your dog being here? I think if you hate people so much sir, why are you doing this job? 3) the outside of the hotel smelled immensely like sewage. Read thru other reviews that this property was built on a sewage line. Lovely! 4) the room was clean but the BED ... the most awful bed Ive ever slept in at a hotel. Super worn in and soft, absolutely no support. My back is killing me right now. The sheets were scratchy and worn. No comforter for the bed but only a worn, cheap waffle knit blanket that you could get from Walmart for twenty bucks. No extra blankets in the closet either. I am so disappointed by this. I would have slept better in a dumpy motel for one third the price. Ive slept in hostels for ten bucks a night that were far more hospitable. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.
