    3 star hotel 1 star staff

    As I previously booked and stayed in this hotel, I booked the same way as always, via Agoda.com. However, this time there was an error in reservation system, so hotel didn't get my booking through their system. Hotel treated me like its my mistake so I had to wait for 2 hours to get my room since the moment I stepped inside the hotel. Firstly, receptionist told me to contact Agoda by myself and tell them to send invoice about my booking (why is that even my concern?!). Then hotel manager came and tried to solve the issue, but still I was treated like its my mistake, and I was even said that maybe its a scam and that I booked maybe from wrong website. I even showed them Booking ID, even Booking reference number and also notification from the bank that money is deducted. They still let me wait. Devastating fact is that hotel has agreement with Agoda.com but no contact number in case that something like this happens. Me as a customer/guest had to call US customer service of Agoda.com from my phone, using my credit to solve issue that is not at all my fault. After I was told by customer support that they will contact hotel via local partners (which hotel didn't even know they exist ?!), I was told by hotel manager that I can go to a room but that I need to pay again for the room and then in case that they get confirmation from Agoda, they will return my money. Obviously, I didn't want to pay double for the same thing, I was waiting in the lobby until they got contacted by local partners. After they got in touch, I was called back to reception desk and then hotel manager told me that I will get upgrade since the room type I booked is not available. He again started mentioning that he will push Agoda to pay extra fee for that new room like I should care and feel sorry or get blamed for that. I am a guest who booked a room. He pointed out like he is doing me an enormous favor for upgrading me after all this time. At the end he got offended when I said that at least I should get apology from them for inconvenience (because not getting my booking is not hotel's mistake, but bad handling of that situation certainly is). He said that he won't apologize. That is kind of manager and leader in hotel industry. By the age he looked experienced but he should not treat me like this. Especially as hotel manager. From my point of view, I had all the reason to show my disappointment that day, but I never even raised a voice towards them. Maybe if I was other nationality or religion, they would handle it differently. But as colleague from same profession, I was quite polite throughout the whole time I was treated like its my mistake.

    RUDE RECEPTIONIST

    We book the hotel via online which is already paid but we couldn't input the correct date that we suppose to stay (08-12-2020) because it can no longer be clicked in the application instead we clicked the today's date thinking we could explain to the receptionist what was happened. We tried to explain calmly and we were even willing to pay for any extra charges just to use the room so we can rest even if its just for 8 hours. The Male receptionist dutied on graveyard didn't even let us finish explaining, he kept on INTERUPTING us while talking and even RAISING his voice to us, giving us a SNOB behavior and cannot even explain very well why he can't give us the room even with extra charges. I asked if we could talk to another person because HE WAS SO TERRIBLE. I mean really horrible service. He was literally arguing with us. Then, the other person explained to me nicely and very detailed that they can't do anything and we are okay with it actually because technically it was our mistake but we can't accept how the male receptionist treated us. We also work for hospitality industry and I know this kind of attitude should not be TOLERATED. Receptionists are the first person that a customer sees and talk to, how he showed his RUDE attitude to us, is how he represents the hotel. It was our third time to book in the hotel now they lost us because of him. We were informed that he is just a new receptionist. If this is how they train the staffs then maybe really its not even worth it to come back. Didn't even want to mention the name but hope they got the message.

    Worst ever hotel with rude unfriendly staff

    Yesterday was my booking for 1 night & I couldn't stand the rude & unprofessional staff. Starting from narrow limited car park to stained room. But the real drama starts at the resturant where they won't allow me to take the food in my room or share it with family !!. Cant explain their illogical approach to their guests although I've ordered 3 main courses. They'll call me to come downstairs again to explain that I want to order food & then the permission will be granted to the resturant staff so I go upstairs again to order food after the permission. Completely unprofessional. Wont recommend this hotel to anyone especially not for families with kids.

    Worst hotel in all doha, not recommended at all

    The worst hotel i have ever seen in doha, Hilights: *No parking (extremely small and was full already! *Unprofessional and rude stff *Very bad and crowded area *Bad smell all over the hotel *Housekeeping stff were talking using phone speakers standing in the corridor like they were seated with me in the room *All the noise from street traffic and car horns is 100% is inside the rooms starting from 10AM ***Details: i came with my girlfriend to stay one night and one day, we paid extra 50 ryals for a late check out (4pm instead of 1pm). They over charged us already because we checked in on Friday which is weekend and that's totally understandable, but after we paid and took the room key, it was a 2 narrow single bed room! So that's what they offer to a couple!!! I didn't ask in reception because i believe there is a minimum level of smartness for the people hired to work in a hotel, after asking to change the room the answer was: (sorry sir it's subject to availability) so we were forced to stay there, the lady in reception (a lady from Philippines) was so rude and unprofessional. Inside the room there not even a small bottle of water. We finally slept a bit around 11am but suddenly i got a call that freaked me out, i answered and the lady was telling me "sir checkout is at 12 noon what time you want to check out!!!!!!" First of all i have been all over the world and stayed in hotels in 5 continents, no hotel in the world will call you unless the checkout time arrive and you don't show up, especially if you didn't request for a Wake up call, second and more important... How the hell do you work in a 3star hotel and you don't coordinate between each other as stff to know what time guests are checking out!!!! I am extremely happy with one thing thou... I just stayed for a day and i will never come back to that bad hotel and i really advise everyone to look for another hotel (there is few other options around) ESPECIALLY PEOPLE COMING FOR FIFA WORLD CUP BE CAREFUL IT'S NOT A PLEASANT STAY.

    Money worth,Bad experience

    I have stayed in Chairmen hotel yesterday with my wife and kid due to cancellation of our very own flight. I got a king bed room #108,basically its an accessible room. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and was busy with having tea however he helped me upon my checkin. He failed to inform us about the room. Ac temperature never changed from 26.5 till checkout even after all corrective adjustments. We called reception and security peraonnel came in and set the temperature but not sorted the issue. I have requested for dental kits and the answer was "out of stock". (Please carry own dental kits those who all gonna stay here). The carpet is not vacuumed, kettle dirty, no drinking water, ac defective, wall seepage, skirting broken, minibar fridge dirtg and not working! The room should go under Out of order to fix the issues please The hotel is Qatar clean certified hotel! Staffs should trained about complete cleaning and disinfection process to avoid such issues in this current pandemic stage. Finally appreciate the security guy(Nepal national) for his hospitality. Please convey my regards to him. He must be working in reception or conceirge. (Recommended ) Room No 108 Shijin
