  Atencion excelente

  Estuve con una delegacion de Argentina y todos quedaron muy contentos con la experiencia de este hotel acogedor, con cena buffet incluida la primera noche, buena ubicacion y sobre todo una atencion excelente en la recepcion. Muy amables y comprensivos.

  Dated room but unique meal plan

  My room reminded me of the room I slept in at my grandparents in the 1970s. It looked very dated, with old furniture and wallpaper. The room was quite warm too and opening the window at night let the noise from the street inside. I also found the duvet to be too heavy. In fact it felt more like a pad than your usual airy duvet. The bathroom was OK, with a surprise selection of Rituals products. As well as an OK breakfast - had better at the other hotels on this trip - it was interesting to see that they offered a free buffet dinner each evening. The selection wasnt too bad, though many of the dishes were over-salted. This hotel is convenient for the train station.

  Poorly cleaned hotel

  We were very dissapointed by the lack of cleanliness. The tables and armrests in the restaurant were sticky and our toilet was smelly. The included dinner was nothing but re-heated pre-made food. Reminded me of my school days... The only thing that was kept the level we expect from Clarion the reception service.

  Value for money

  Good value B&B, coffee and cakes in the afternoon and a basic but good dinner all for one price, an amount that I would not consider being over the top for a restaurant dinner for 2 persons. Booked an upgraded room which was large if basic but comfortable with the exception of lack of pillows , just 1 each and I always have at least 2 , I'm sure if requested from reception extra pillows would be available.

  Nice location

  Clarion in Växjö is located a few minutes walk from the station in the pedestrian area of the town. There are plenty of parking within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is divided into two different buildings about a 2 minute walk in between them, however the reception and amenities are all in the main building. The reception is a little quirky and hidden away from the entrance and it also serves as a bar. Breakfast is served on the first floor which is also where the complimentary evening meal is served from 18-21. The hotel has a small gym located in the basement of the other building with treadmills, a cycle and a weight room. The hotel room are average size and the decor is nice, however the is a lack of power points especially around the bed. The bathrooms are nice and big. As the hotel is in the centre of town you have easy access to shopping and restaurants. Overall a good budget hotel at the heart of the town
