  Excellent upgraded unit

  We recently rented unit 2417 through Captain Cook, and we were very pleased. This was a very recently remodeled, upgraded unit and was more expensive than many others in the building. To us, it was worth it. It has 2 very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. It had a well stocked kitchen, nice washer and dryer, and good air conditioning. Parking was free in their garage. Waikiki was just a couple of blocks away. We enjoyed walking to dinner and shopping after. There was some road noise as is expected in a city, but we used white noise apps to mask li. The pool was out of commission while we were there, but we were fairly compensated for that.

  Cockroaches, Filth and black mold

  My daughter and I were supposed to be here 6 nights. The first morning we woke up to cockroaches running on the counters. Luckily we were able to get a hotel and our money back through Airbnb. The next day we were on a tour with a local and he mentioned the black mold. Seriously, if you're coming to Hawaii, spend the money and get a hotel. Always remember you get what you pay for.

  Great apartment

  We stayed on the 10th floor. Great clean apartment. Washing machine and dryer, full kitchen, clean and tidy. Perfect for our honeymoon stay. Close waking distance to all facilities and our Airbnb host James was easy to communicate with.

  Vacation

  Will not stay there again because room conditions for sleeping (Murphy Bed) were extremely uncomfortable. Leaking from the ceiling from an upstairs unit. Although the leak was reported from the previous night; we were not moved until the second time the leak occurred as if management did not believe us.

  Good and Better

  We stayed in two separate units throughout our stay in Waikiki. We stayed in vacation Internationale units they are a timeshare group. We stayed in room 712 which was the first level above the parking lot while the unit itself was very nice clean and well appointed the view was dismal which was a parking lot . On our second stage we stayed 2318 which is a corner unit and the view was fantastic . The V I units are very nice with full kitchen and all utensils needed as well as a washer dryer, nice big master bedroom with large closet and safe, also the TV in the master. The bathroom is a little small but definitely adequate and clean . The location is very good along the canal and adjacent to the golf course and only a few blocks to the beach as well as near to the various restaurants and shops about. Check in is a little awkward for VI memebers as you have to go to the Royal Kuhio to check in and get your keys its maybe a five minute walk away Pool is open ,it is small but the deck area is huge,overall not a great pool area Look forward to return
