  Great Location, Wonderful Staf

  We previously stayed at the Fala for a week in January 2019 after a cruise. At that time we interacted with several staff working at the Fortuna because along with the Elita these three hotels are all a part of the same hotel group. Although we enjoyed our stay at the Fala, we enjoyed our stay at the Fortuna (Feb 2019) before our Panama Canal cruise even more. The room, including the bathroom, was large; the bed was very comfortable; the room was very clean; the cleaning staff was friendly and attentive. The font desk staff that we interacted with---Elizabeth, Nicole, Joel, Alejandro---were terrific and competent, satisfied all our requests. The location, just one block from the beach, is practically unbeatable. They also provide beach towels, as well as beach chairs and umbrellas; the latter on a first-come-first-served basis. We're on another cruise in Feb 2020 and will be staying here again even though we'll be flying out of Miami.

  Hotel for indians in Little India

  This is finest hotel with basic amenity suitable for family Traveler with indian style complementary breakfast. we group of 19 members 5 family had a good and nice days in the hotel centrally located near mustafa mall and nagarcovil ariya bhavan and many more hotels with south indian food.

  Very good location .. decent stay

  Decent stay at a very good location. Lot of food joints near the hotel where you can get wide variety of food. Rooms are clean and ok. Service is also good. Mostly this hotel seems to be used for group packages. complementary breakfast offered was an Indian breakfast .. decent one

  Could be better

  I visited this month with a friend to Singapore and stayed in Fortuna Hotel. Room space was rather small for a twin bed room, TV was not working, bathroom was built with enough space. Very convenient to the train station Farer park, easy access to shopping malls as well. Hotel is quite old built but for us it was not a problem as we only spent maximum 8 hours in the room and we occupied ourselves during day time. Breakfast could be super better rather than serving the chickpea curry and dhal with puri everyday.

  If you can afford a better place, dont go to this place.

  It does'nt deserve any rating. We had a great Singapore experience, except for hotel fortuna. We went there just because our travel agent cheated. It does'nt have the ambience or standard of a 3 star Indian hotel. There is no lobby. Very rude reception staff. Dull, worn out and old interiors. The bathrooms of the rooms we got were renovated, neat and tidy. No restaurant. No room service. Very rude housekeeping supervisor. Breakfast is arranged outside in a room. No choice of food. For any thing you ask the reception/housekeeping, (eg. bucket-mug, tooth paste, shaving kit, etc.) the answer is: "No sir, we dont provide it." May be it is a cheap and affordable place for budget travellers from India and Bangladesh. The only positives are proximity to Faber park MRT, City centre mall and Mustafa mall. If you can afford a better place, dont go to this place.
