  Apartamentos de lujo a 3 cuadras de la playa

  The Glen apartments es un complejo de pocos departamentos donde la gente vive y algunos se alquilan a turistas. Teníamos un apartamento precioso y tenia desde microondas hasta lavarropas, lavavajilla y loza radiante. El personal es muy amable y tiene vigilancia las 24 horas, estacionamiento techado y servicio de playa. Una piscina no muy grande pero lo bueno es que se pueden utilizar los servicios del hotel THE BAY, frente a la playa. Esta a 3 cuadras de la mejor zona de Ciudad del Cabo: Camps Bay, una zona con una hermosa playa y actividad nocturna. Hermoso lugar para hospedarse, tranquilo y bien ubicado. Volveria!!

  Good accommodation

  A bit isolated and a hard walk up from camps bay. Great staff and spacious accommodation but would have preferred to be within easier walking distance to the Bay Area. Had our own pool but unable to use as wasnt cleaned!!

  Beautiful apartment

  We stayed for 5 nights with our friends in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was extremely well appointed and served as a wonderful place to relax at the end of our Garden Route holiday. It is worth pointing out though that only the master bedroom and the living accommodation have air conditioning. Our bedroom, although very well fitted out, only had a portable fan. It certainly didnt spoil anything for us and we loved our stay here. The pool area is lovely, but if the complex is full I imagine it could get very busy and as there are only 10 sun loungers, could be problem. It was fairly quiet whilst we were there, so no such issues. Plus, of course, the beautiful beach is only a 5/10 minute stroll away. Be aware though, if you do have mobility issues, its a hard walk up hill on the way back and will probably take you a good 15 minutes, but taxis always seemed to be available from the beach front if required. Excellent secure parking, which is a real bonus as parking in the area is at a premium.

  Nice, well equipped Appartment in lovely area

  Camps bay is a beautiful beach with restaurants and bars along the seafront. the apartments are a short distance away from the beach but up a steep hill. We had a nice welcome from the staff and there is secure underground parking. The apartment itself was clean with a well equipped kitchen, tea and coffee facilities, dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer. There were two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom very nice with a powerful shower. There was a lovely patio area to sit out which was nice for breakfast with lovely views. The apartment did have WiFi but this never worked for our entire 3 day stay despite us reporting it to the manager. This was our first visit to South Africa and our first accommodation there. For some reason, we were not told about load shedding. These are planned power cuts for 2 hours at a time twice a day that happen all over South Africa. The schedules are published in advance we found out when we moved to our next hotel. So the first we knew was when we were plunged into darkness on our first evening. We did find a couple of battery lamps but of course could not make any tea and the fridge beeped all night. It would have been much better to have been informed about this on our arrival so we could plan when and where to eat (a lot of restaurants have generators for this long term issue) as an all electric kitchen is useless if there is no electricity.

  Lovely Apartments

  A great place to stay whilst visiting Cape Town. Only a ten minute walk to the beach and centre of Camps bay. The staff here are wonderful and cant do enough for you. Well appointed apartments with all you need - our only problem was that the air conditioning in the main bedroom was broken making it very hot and impossible to sleep.
