    Con encanto.

    Por ahora nos esta gustando mucho, salvo un problema de una cisterna todo bien. Hay dos comedores, uno mas lleno y con variedad, y otro con menos variedad pero mas cerca de la playa y mejores vistas. Este ultimo lo utilizan mas los Franceses y el primero los Tunecinos. A la espera de ver espectáculo y demás actividades para este fin de semana.... 3*. También tiene piscina grande, y playa de zona del hotel. Con parasoles y tumbonas. Minigolf y pista de tenis. Hay mucho que ver y hacer.. Quark, caballos....

    The hotel is really good. The works was exllent especially in the bar (they was funny and know how to treat costumer) everything was perfect. Aymen, chadli and Adel thank you so much for everything. We will be back

    Best animation team

    We really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The best thing was animation team. The guys doing their job very good. Especially I would like to say thanks to Masinga and Tigana, nice guys. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was nice and friendly. The room is not so comfy, it was renovated but still not so clean or brand new, but we spend the whole day at the pool or at the sea, so it was not the problem for us at all. If you are planning your trip to Djerba be aware of Moskitos in the evening they are everywhere .

    The worst hotel

    The rooms and facilities were infested by mosquitos! The food was never served on time and has no taste! The beach is close, but sewer is going into the see right there and the smell is unbearable! The manager Jalloul, was drinking during the day at the beach bar with his friends and was present when I attempted to get a Coca Cola. The attendee was cleaning the tables , intentionally avoiding me and send me to the bar about 100 m away. The beach bar is always empty, no customers at all and the bartender is hiding in a small room, behind the bar. No one in the hotel ( including the manager) wore badges, so it is not easy to complain personally. My vacation was ruined by choosing this awful hotel!

    OFF (only facts, folks)

    Food. Food service start is usually delayed by 5-10 minutes. Morning eggs by 15-20 mins. Food selection is not great, slightly above poor. Although there are always rice, potato, pasta and chicken, fish, beef so one can mix them as desired. Good point is that vegetable salads are fresh. Empty food trays replace is rather slow so if you don't eat fish and want some beef that is gone you have to wait with no alternative available. Lunch and dinner offers freshly fried beef/chicken/ fish. Beverage. Throughout hotel it is advised not fill water bottles from water coolers. Staff watches it. This policy leads to tons of single use plastic cups next to each drinking station (usually soda and water, beer and wines available for self-service only in restaurant). Some guests get big soda cups (16 oz) to eliminate endless refills of 4 oz plastic cups which are going to trash after that. PLEASE bring your own travel mug or to-go cup to help save environment. Except beer and wines bars offer liquors. Its up to you if you want to drink it. I asked for whisky, tried that and switched back to beer. Snack bar. Between restaurant opening hours drinks can be taken at so-called snack bar. In reality it only has max 10-12 pieces of some pastry (1-2 types). At least fries and vegetarian or cheese pizza wouldve made huge difference. Beach bar is a strange place. It looks like after it was built no one truly knows of its real purpose. The point of its existence is a mystery as it hardly serves its nature. Coffee machine and soda station. Thats it. Rooms are both old and old fashioned, national style though. Required to be renewed. Bathroom appliances look ugly and need deep cleaning, better replacement. Not that I usually need room phone, but it would be nice to have one operational. It is one of the services right? Mosquitos, flies, spiders, cockroaches are common in rooms and corridors. So have some repellents with you. English language needs to be added to all information stands. First priority is to add description of each food item in restaurant. Staff. Some staff doesnt speak English. Comparing to Caribbean employees who are hospitable, friendly and life enjoying from the nature, i.e. it is 24/7 in their blood and genes (Thai also friendly and hospitable, great people), staff in Meninx creates impression of being simply at work. Some with bad mood, some just need to work somewhere, some just has looks on faces with thoughts of day off. That applies to reception, restaurant and bar. Seen something similar in Egypt. One of the nights there were loud music playing till midnight. Guests (around 30 rooms were exposed) were complaining to reception about it since 9-10 p.m. The reply was to bear it till midnight. No action was taken. Beach is basically good. Water is clean and shallow which is good for small kids. Some sea weed doesnt spoil the impression. Which cant be said about the sand. Despite some tractor cleaning sand still filled with cigarettes butts and horse and camel crap. Smell aligns with it. Camel and horse ride offers are quite annoying as animals constantly on the beach, as well as local vendors. Some sell cigarettes for 5 TND a pack. Although I witnessed French lady refused to buy 10 pack carton after she examined it. Weak point is wheel chair and baby strollers access because at some locations one has to carry it up/down the stairs, e.g. beach access, room hallway access. Long deep down beach boardwalk is crucial for beach access. Currently there are only remnants of it. Taxi. Yellow taxi cabs are everywhere. Travel rate is set. Mainly it is French brands vehicles & they are pretty used and old. A couple of stores can be found within 5 minutes walk from the hotel with souvenirs, water and bare essentials. To summarize I dont think I would want to come back to North African hotels preferring other destinations.
