Best option for overnight stay at the Boryspil airport

I found this nice little place one night when I was forced to spend the night at the airport for a connection. It's your best bet on all fronts if you have to spend a night between flights at Boryspil. I found it through the information desk at the airport. I suggest you go there to connect with the hotel. It's sort of a quaint vacation lodge. The rooms were fine, but not great. The bed was comfortable enough but traditional ukranian hard. There was a couch and a writing table. The bedroom was small and functional. It was a little too small, so it was uncomfortable. That's all a little part for the course, unfortunately, for Ukraine, but let me highlight the good stuff now. First, it has free, highspeed WiFi! Yes, that's right! That alone should get you to read on. Second, they had a pretty darn good breakfast. They brought it to me in my room. An omelet with meet, veggies, bacon and sauage. Third, the service at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Made me coffee, helped me with rides. Great. They take credit cards. The cost was very reasonable. It was about $50 a night. Plus you have to take a taxi, but LET THE HOTEL ARRANGE IT! You don't want to deal with the local taxi drivers. The hotel taxi was about $9 each way. So, including ride, it was less than $70 for a nice room, with free wifi and breakfast and good service. Sold. This is the place to stay when you have an overnight in Kiev.

Best solution for an overnight stay for a connection flight

I had a pleasant stay over one night 8.04.12 in this cozy hotel when i had to catch a connection flight on the next morning. The hotel provided me with a very nice high class room, a good breakfast and an airport transfer (both directions). Although i arrived late (22:00) i got a quick check in and a room service when i ordered a beer to relax from my flight. The transfer from the airport was a little late so i had to call the hotel reception to confirm the transfer and it has arrived after 10 min. Overall, i had very good experience with this hotel so i might gladly recommend it.

    Unfriendly arrival

After a 8 hours trip by bus from Charakov we arrived late in the evening. The woman of the reception was very unfriendly. No attention and the only thing she did was to give us the key. In the bedroom the beds were ready yet. The bathroom was o.k. In the morning when we left the hotel the woman was still very unfriendly. A boy drove us to the airport (8). We paid for the room for 3 people 260 euro. Ridiculous !

Fortunately it was one night only

Total points: 5/10 Location: 5/10 We booked the house. Only upon arrival we realized it is situated a long way from the main building. According to the prospect there should be several services available. Internet was not among them, nor the air conditioning. Apparantly one can order from a menu (none found), which would then be comfortably be provided. The only non-requested service was the wasps nest over one of the balconies. The door could therefore not be opened. Shuttle service from the station as well as to the airport had to be booked and paid separately. Rooms: 7/10 This cottage is huge and would be more interesting as a long stay location. Interior seems relatively new, but is not very good quality. Service: 4/10 Arriving at the central station the driver waited on top of the stairs until I had carried 2 heavy suitcases up. It may be Ukrainian. Service is not provided at all. Breakfast buffet & Restaurant: 4/10 Both breakfast as well diner are hideously expensive for the area. When ordering a dish one is expected to ask for a certain amount of meat (e.g. 100 grams) When it is served we found it was closer to 200 grams for which you are charged of course. The meat was way overcooked and could not be eaten anymore. Fries were not tasty and the few vegetables were not fresh either. Pricing: 6/10 For Ukraine, especially the Sumy area this hotel is expensive, especially when looking at the value provided.
