  Good family driven hotel with a good restaurant

  Hotel on the main car free main road throug town. Quiet, well situated hotel with a really nice restaurant. Room was clean and functional. Breakfast had a good variety. Just missed some more vegetables to choose from. Tip! Test the local beer with korn grinder in the local windmuller! The triple is good!

  great place to stay

  Staff very helpful and cheerful. The bed was unbelievably comfortable (I really struggle with hotel beds) Rooms simply furnished, restaurant good. Very centrally located most convenient. Stayed there 2x - would stay there again.

  Family owned for 4 generations

  We loved this hotel. Situated in the heart of town, the owner, John Epping, was so welcoming and went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely stay. Our room was VERy comfortable and quiet, even though we were overlooking the street. The restaurant Bites and Nights is a fun concept of all you can eat Tapas style snacks from around the world. John also carries a number of beers on tap, which my husband really appreciated. Lots of locals came to eat there as well.. always a good sign. A memorable experience for sure!

  Not worth it

  There are better hotels nearby. There are much better restaurants than this too In ijsselstein much better value.. The restaurant looks good and is decorated beautifully. wish we could say the same for the food and the Service which really let it down. A group of 8 of us went for dinner, 400 euros later. We had 9 different rooms booked in the hotel. The lady closed and through us out on sunday morning without warning after check out. Oh we were all here for a wedding and The groom was also ordred to pay 12.50 for his breakfast. paying was not the issue It was the rudeness of the staff that morning at breakfast. the hotel room was very basic. would rather stay next time in small warm loving B@bs Or even airbnb than stay here again. No warmth or value.

  Lovely place, lovely people

  Stayed here with work absolutely lovely little village, lovely hotel with really nice food.The food menus were in Dutch so the owner went out of his way to sit with us and write the menu out in English for us nothing was too much for anyone who worked there, would highly recommend no doubt we will be staying there again through work.
