  Bonito Hotel con una ubicación peculiar

  Si no te importa estar lejos del centro y disfrutar de 20 minutos de ferry, el Hotel es ideal. De estilo marinero, con habitaciones comodas y bien decoradas. No hay servicios en el hotel y un solo restaurante cerca.

  Not as advertised

  Im not sure if they recently switched management, because our experience has been different to what everyone describes. Once we found the reception on the 2nd floor, we were greeted by the chef and the cleaning lady. No manager or receptionist to be seen. Eventually someone showed up to help. Friendly guy though... the first 30min set the tone for the remaining of our stay. As read in another comment, hotel is messy, vacuum cleaner is laying around in de hallway, personel doesnt seem to know how service their clients... all small things really, but just it feels like a mismanaged hotel. No soul. As advise: get your troops in line, work on friendlines, manage the hotel, change the pictures on booking.com so its a more accurate representation.

  Weekend break to Göteborg Sun-Tues

  Beautiful location, quiet residential area on the seafront within easy access of the city via bus or ferry which are right outside the property. On first impressions the building is old but charming and has plenty of history, really beautiful. We arrived late about 10pm or so and were given a code for the door, there was no reception area on the ground floor and we were instructed to fetch the packet with our key from the post box inside the ground floor entrance. I had a few questions to ask before we explored the city the following day but reception didnt seem to be open. I didnt even know if there was a reception area, as it transpired the reception area and breakfast desk were one and the same and seemed to be manned by kitchen staff who had very little English, this could be quite off putting for international guests. The rooms were really nice, very clean and modern and the beds were lovely and comfortable. I really missed not having tea and coffee making facilities in the room which is pretty standard. This didnt bother me too much as I had read online that there were tea and coffee making facilities on the ground floor with snacks. This turned out to be a disaster as were on the third floor. When we got back from the city in the evenings there were never any cups available, no milk in the fridge, no spoons and no snacks. This was 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. I had to go and buy my own milk from the supermarket for a coffee and the last night I had a green tea in a glass! The tv in our room had only two channels SVT1 and SVT2 and there was a distracting booming noise every few seconds so it was impossible to watch anything. The channels are in Swedish but I happen to understand and speak a little Swedish. Breakfast is fantastic, they have everything you could want, I loved the ginger shots to boost the immune system as we were feeling a little otherwise before arriving in Göteborg. The breakfast room is spectacular with fabulous view over the pier. The lack of personal interaction with staff was very strange and we couldve benefited from knowing some first hand information about the city. A lot of places are closed on Sundays and Museum's are closed on Mondays. I wouldnt let this distract from the fact this was a clean and decent property with excellent breakfast in a pretty location, the details are minor but would do well with improving a little here or there!

  Great hotel by the water.

  This is a great hotel. Very close to Lindholm science park, and 1 minute boatride to the city center. Its more small and cosy but still very elegant. Great value for your money, sorry really great value for money.

  I cancelled a booking with this hotel which was originally booked for July 2021. The hotel then debited my cancelled charge of £371 GBP THREE times. This caused significant stress and financial hardship - 4 weeks before Christmas! The hotel were very unhelpful and did not respond to my numerous emails.
