  Quiet hostel in a quiet area - fine for 1 night.

  This hotel is pretty hard to find. We had the address in Russian and the taxi from the airport put this in to his GPS. The hostel does not have a big sign outside, rather a bell with a TINY "Capsule Inn" badge around the bell. The dorm: There were 16 "capsules" in my dorm. It wasn't like a capsule I had stayed in before. This was more like a tiny little box with a drop down material "door". 3x plug sockets in the capsule / mattress / pillow / duvet / shelf / towel rail. VERY hot. Dorm was mixed also - I would have preferred female only. Lockers outside of the dorm. You are made to take your shoes off - but the hostel provides you with slippers. Towels provided (small and large). Good wifi. Facilities: 3 showers / 3 toilets / hairdryer. Kitchen: tea bags / microwave / fridge freezer / dish washer / washing machine / stove top. Lots of plug sockets dotted around. VERY little English spoken by staff. No maps etc in the hostel of the area / city. No tour info. Very little ambience in the hostel - every one was practically mute (and Russian). The area: There are some eateries on the main road. Limited English menus. We found a good Georgian restaurant close by. We are in a Russian place round the corner too but the food all tasted like lard. Nice bakeries on the main street.

  A pleasant stay

  We stayed in the cube in for its convenient location. Please note that you do NOT need to go through an arch in order to reach the hostel (as maps may suggest) but you will need to spot a door with the cabin hostel sign beside, it's quite small. We arrived before the 2pm check in but we were kindly allowed to shower and freshen up before going to the room. The girl at reception put herself back to sleep and somehow slept through several alarms, which must have been annoying for others in the hostel. The rooms are clean and the capsules spacious. We were provided with towels and a locker to keep valuable possessions in. The hostel became very hot and I found myself opting for a cold shower to cool down. There is little information available and little English spoken . A pleasant stay in a good location, but not for the luxury traveller.
