  Nice quiet Spa!

  We were in the Spa of this beautiful hotel, we stayed there 2 hours and we enjoyed the peace in a beautiful place. Spa is small, and it has a nice pool with hydromassage, there are also Sauna, steamer, ice room, relax room, and we were free to have tea and apples. We paid 29 CHF (summer season) and we had also towels included in this price. I believe is a very nice place to spend few hours. Stuff was nice and professional.

  Restored hotel and a new building

  This time, we stayed in the restored hotel (the last time we stayed in the new building). Both are excellent. Breakfast is for all in the new building. The Spa and Gym is for all in the restored building. Room Nr. 201 in the restored building is unbeatable with a total of six windows. For dinner we recommend Ristorante il Brunello two minutes walk, make reservation. Parking is CHF 15.00 the night. Navigation with obstacle. All is small but sympathetic with friendly staff. ... we will be back.

  High Chlorine amount in thermal bath

  We booked this spa & thermal pool as part of our trip to Baden. We were super excited to get to swim in the thermal waters but when we actually entered the pool a heavy chlorine smell hit us and cut our stay extremely short. We know there is a legal requirement to use chlorine in public pools, however the amount was exaggerated and ruined our stay. Money wasted here! Go instead next door to Blume hotel spa where they dont use chlorine in the private pools and it looks spectacular!

  Fantastic 4 night stay at the Limmathof Baden (the new building)

  My husband and I stayed for four nights in the New Part of the Limmathof Baden (Novum Spa). When we booked we asked for a quiet room with a view. The staff at the Limmathof contacted us and recommended that we upgrade the room to a Junior Suite which was located on the second floor. It was a corner room with a large balcony, a very good suggestion from staff, as the room we had originally chosen was on ground level. Although there is some building work going on on the other side of the river, we did not get disturbed by it. We actually enjoyed watching some of the work going on. We checked in on the 29th of January 2019, and right from the start we've had a great experience.The lady at reception was very friendly and explained everything. We wanted to make use of the pools/baths with the mineral springs, which are located on the other side of the Limmat river (in the older building of the Limmathof). The lady explained how there is a basket with bathrobes, slippers in the room and you simply walk across the little bridge and make use of the Mineral Springs, the Steam Room, Ice Room, and the Sauna. You get to pick a locker with a key in the change rooms, and off you go. The whole facility is kept very clean and all the staff we've had contact with, where professional, always with a smile, and all to happy to listen, and answer any questions, and make suggestions. We also had a relativ visit with a couple of kids and we sat in the Restaurant and ordered this amazing plate with cold meats, cheeses, etc. it was served with beautiful bread. The breakfast was an absolute delight every morning. There is a good variety available and you can also request eggs cooked to your liking. The staff again very professional, and always with a smile. We enjoyed our time tremendously, and we love to come and stay again, although we live in Australia and it is a very long way to come. The Limmathof has a great team, and we hope they keep up their standard and professional approach.

  Hermosa vista al rio

  El hotel tiene dos edificios, me toco ir al edificio nuevo, muy lindo, habitaciones espaciosas y bien equipadas, baño amplio y una ducha espectacular. El desayuno es sencillo sin demasiada variedad pero bueno. El hotel tiene instalaciones de spa aunque no llegue a utilizarlo.
