  Luxury in a secluded and quiet corner of Vancouver Island

  We found this B & B quite by accident, but had a fabulous stay! WE were overbooked by Expedia on a busy weekend in Victoria, where the hotels/motels were fully booked, so we accepted the Malahat View Guesthouse as an alternative. We were only 30 minutes from Victoria and about the same from Nanaimo- very central. Our king sized bed was in a luxurious suite, with a huge Jacuzzi tub, and our shower was exotic! We were in a secluded forested area with view of Shawnigan Lake, and our early morning hikes before breakfast were through a dense forested area. The home is luxurious with extensive use of marble from all continents of the world. But- the best was the breakfast! OMG! Crepes, sausage, organic vegetables and herbs grown right on the property, and eggs freshly gathered from the hen house on the property, right beside the curious Alpacas grazing in their pen. Fresh organic fruits and berries. We met a wonderful family from The Netherlands and learned so much about their country. Shirley was an amazing hostess- very accommodating and service was unparalleled! Thank you so much for a very romantic and relaxing stay...Don and Kat

  Wonderful stay!!

  Everything was amazing :) The place was a little hard to find but Shirley helped us find it all the way! The room was so cosy and beautiful, the lighting bath/hot tub in the room was also wonderful, with luxury bath products in the bathroom, and even the shower was so special! The bestest was the breakfast with fresh products from the garden! I loved this place!! I even got to pet an Alpaca! Thanks Shirley!
