Brief stay in HanoiI stayed in this hotel for three nights in April 2014. On arrival, I received a very friendly welcome at reception. I was then presented with a very useful map of Central Hanoi and an exceptionally informed presentation on all to see and do in Hanoi. This really set me up to make the most of my time there. The hotel is very conveniently located - a certain amount of walking or commuting is required on the very busy Hanoi Streets. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The hotel is squeezed into a very narrow space - there was no natural light in my room. A light sleeper is likely to be disturbed by comings and goings during the night - usually other guests making a bit of noise. These are minor issues. I found the staff so helpful and friendly and anxious that I get as much enjoyment and value as possible during my stay in Hanoi. I did enjoy my time there and hope to revisit Hanoi. If I do go back to Hanoi I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else but at the Rising Dragon Haven - soon to be Pearl Dragon Hotel.

The most enjoyable stay I've ever had!!Fantastic hotel in a great location, only downside is rooms are small n breakfast is not great. But this is made up for by the standard of the rooms & the amazing staff, made it feel like a real home from home!!

Noisy, impersonal and smells of smokeBooked at rising dragon and arrived late at night. They had double booked us and transferred us to their sister hotel - the rising dragon haven - which we regretted! The location is very convenient for the old quarter and the breakfast is a pretty good buffet. However we were repeatedly woken by noise from inside the hotel and from our neighbours doing their business in their bathroom. Everywhere smelt of stale smoke, there were no windows and the reception staff were pretty unwelcoming considering the circumstances. You could do a lot better for the money.

Great value and friendly hotelFor our family they arranged adjoining rooms. Very clean. Well serviced. Food is delicious & reasonable price. Very friendly staff. In a great position to explore surrounding streets with food outlets & vendors selling lots of colourful wares

Solid 3 star hotelStayed as part of a tour good hotel some of the rooms are very small to their credit they moved as for a couple of nights to a bigger room without charge, the free break fast was always fresh and tasty pretty good location but just out side the old quarter. I would stay there again
