  February Ski Trip

  Really lovely hotel, very nicely decorated and one of the comfiest beds Ive ever slept on! Plenty of wardrobe and hanging space etc, and couldnt hear a thing from other rooms. You can hear the train nearby and the church bells in the morning but that didnt really bother us! Spacious boot room (though super heated!) Nice bar and reasonably priced - breakfast was fine but pricey at 15 per person - if you can get it cheaper as part of your booking worth doing! Its about a 10 minute walk to the ski lift or there is a free hotel shuttle bus. Its a brisk 25 minute walk into Zell am See or you can get a bus (2 per person) or a taxi is about 10. There are a couple of fun apres ski bars by the lift and a couple of restaurants nearby (hotel doesnt serve dinner). There are lockers by the lift so worth considering to save lugging skis etc every day? We went into Zell a couple of times in the evening and the other two nights ate at the Thai (lovely) and the Shiraz (not so keen). You can also easily get the ski bus to the Kitzsteinhorn area where the skiing was awesome - just go early to avoid the cramped buses! Beautiful indoor pool area, didnt check out the outdoor pool! For the price we paid I would say a really good deal for such a nice, modern hotel!

  Great place for early exploring the Gloßglockner

  Had a "Superior Doppelzimmer" for one night to start my tour on the Großglockner very early. Check-out at 5.50am was no problem, unfortunately breakfast starts at 7am. The room was very clean, well equipped with a shower and a bathtub. View from the balcony was ok. Staff very professional and super friendly. Thank you, will be back when in the area

  Nice place but service?

  We spent here prolonged weekend in July. The hotel environment is nice but we definitely expected more when it comes to hospitality. There is no information in booking material that the kitchen in the hotel is closed for weekends so what a surprise when you want to eat and staff offers you chips only As a golden nail we made a reservation for floating spa (day in advance). At the moment we came for it we have been told that there is a technical problem so they are sorry... Nobody was contacting us with this info even though they are taking guests mobile number at arrival. All in all Zell am See is very nice place to stay, hotel is nice but services are disappointment

  Great place with friendly service and great facilities

  We stayed here for three nights and were made to feel welcome right from the start. We needed to make some changes in our arrangements and staff was super helpful and very accommodating. The room was spotless and cosy; the spa area and treatments offered excellent, with very skilled staff on hand. Would definitely recommend the MAVIDA and return there.

  Perfect place to relax and energise

  Unfortunately we only staid for one night. The room was really nice with the bed situated to the windows and balcony. Bed was a large box spring with great mattress. Room was very clean and well designed. Also free bottle of water. Bathroom was nice with large shower. Shower head could be bigger. The facilities are the biggest plus. Nice heated outside swimming pool. Also a inside swimming pool with heated water beds to the side. Sauna options are great and service is delightful. Several saunas, showers and steam cabins. The bar at the hotel has a nice cosy modern club vibe and the waitress was really friendly. The gin tonics she served were perfect! The breakfast was also everything you could wish. We will come back for sure. Only small downside is the train trails next to hotel but at night there are no trains.
