  Fifth year in a row, says it all

  We love Monteforte Resort, after four visits, it truly feels like coming home and staying with family. As always the care and service offered by Salvatore and Cristian is all one could hope for and every year there are small changes that only serve to improve the experience. There is still an arrangement with Lido Sabbioso which is a great plus as it is one of the nicest beaches and has a great restaurant. For us there is only one place to stay in Ugento and this is it.

  little paradise

  a fantastic spot in Salento, one of the most charming and stylish regions of Italy! Not to be missed if you travel in the region. The facilities are designed to embrace the guest in italian hospitality and warmth. Salvatore, the owner is an amazing source of informations and suggestions to enhance the experience, the discovery of incredible little treasures in the landscape, in artistic little villages and pristine beaches and transparent waters. Ugento is well positioned to allow the visitor to travel to different locations in Salento making everyday worth the stay!!!! We had one of our best holidays!

  A very warm stay.

  The stay at monteforte resort was very warm. Stayed there to attend friends wedding in town. The room is spacious with beautifully walled bricks and ceiling, along with an authentic espresso machine.The bathroom is spacious, well lit, and amazing with a jacuzzi! Its very cute and the staff is very hospitable. The resort is very clean. Its worth to visit when in Ugento. Breakfast is home made and delicious with all the pastries.And the owner is the most hospitable and warm man ive ever met. Thanks Monte-forte for your hospitality.

  The Best Place to Stay in Ugento, Italy

  If you are looking for a unique experience while visiting Italy, Ugento is the place for you and the Monteforte Resort is the place to stay. The accommodations are outstanding but the hospitality is even greater. There is no hotel in Italy that will make you feel more welcomed and cared for than this exceptional resort next to the historic Castle of Ugento (Castello di Ugento). During your stay, Cristian takes care of your every need and Salvatore (Il Duca) can get you to the finest restaurants and places to see in the region. Come, stay for a while, I promise you won't be disappointed.

  Amazing place in Ugento

  Nice, large , stylish and comfortable rooms. The staff took great care of me and my friends, they were very helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a great choice of different kinds of food, many of which typical of the region. I highly reccomend Monteforte resort if you wanna visit Ugento and Puglia.
