  Nice surprise

  I actually booked this place at the last minute due to confusion with the place I was supposed to be staying, but it was certainly a happy accident. The place is small and the rooms very simple but colourful and comfortable. There's an air con unit in the room for the hot summer evenings though I didn't use it. There's free wifi and the breakfast is simple but good. Mainly though I liked it because the welcome was so friendly and genuine. Were I not staying with a friend for the rest of my time in Torino I would have enjoyed staying at Piazza Vittorio to continue my various conversations with Maurizio. The b&b is also right by Piazza Vittorio (funnily enough), a massive piazza with hundreds of people sat outside by cafes during the day. I'd highly recommend this b&b as a great, simple little place to stay. It wasn't easy to find initially as it's in a palazzo on via bava rather than a door directly on the street, and there are no (or possibly few) signs to find it so I had to ask someone where it was. This is the only review in English so far on this site, but I'm not sure if they speak English themselves. All in all a great little place to stay.

  Como en casa

  Cuando viajo sola y decido alojarme en un B&B en lugar de un hotel, estoy buscando un tipo de experiencia distinta: más humana, más acogedora, y, sobre todo, más auténtica. Si eres como yo y buscas esto, el B&B de Maurizio y Tatiana es tu lugar. Una típica corrala turinesa situada a 1 minuto de la plaza Vittorio, con lo mejor del centro a un paso y la tranquilidad y el descanso asegurados. El sitio es estupendo, está limpísimo y la pareja que lo lleva se encarga en todo momento de hacerte sentir como en casa. A esa sensación contribuyen tanto las deliciosas mermeladas y bizcochos caseros de Tatiana como los ratos (sin prisas) que se toma Maurizio para contarte cosas de su ciudad. Durante mi estancia tuve un pequeño problema con la habitación y los dos se desvivieron por solucionármelo rápidamente, incluso siendo domingo. Solo puedo decir que estoy deseando volver, Turín, Tatiana y Maurizio se lo merecen

  " A Little Gem"

  Myself and a mate stayed here while in Turin to watch Celtic v Juve in Champions League and were very impressed. The rooms are simple and brightly decorated " we stayed in the green room of course" breakfast was nice if a little sweet, B+B very centrally located just off the River Po and next to Piazza Vittoria. The best thing about our stay here was definitely the friendly reception we got every day from our hosts and from the citizens of Torino even with their limited English.Would defo return to Torino and stay at Piazza Vittoria again.

  Terrible

  We arrived later than planned due to the public transport strike in Italy. In stead of 4 pm we were happy to arrive at 7 pm. Tired we had problems finding the place but were happy when we arrived. We were reprimanded severely for being too late which is not a good beginning. The next day we were awakened at 7 am and reprimanded quite brutally about misplaced teacups, open windows etcetc in the public space. We had understood that we were the only guests an tried to make our excuses for this misunderstanding. We left with no breakfast in search for a new hotel. It quite spoiled our long time planned city trip to Turin.

  Great Value

  We stayed here over a winter weekend and had the whole place to ourselves. The room is simple but comfortable, and although the B&B is in the centre of Turin, it was very quiet at night. The location is superb, as it's within walking distance of many of Turin's attractions. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was more than sufficient. All in all a great value stay in Turin.
