  MUY BUENA OPCION

  El hotel está fuera del centro histórico, en el sector de los Jardines, un lugar más tranquilo pero muy bonito, con lugares donde desayunar y comer, además la estación del trolley está al frente y te lleva directamente al centro histórico por USD1,25! El edificio es antiguo, pero bastante bien mantenido, la habitación muy grande (siempre se agradece) y lo mejor: La cama!!! Muy buena cama!!! Lo recomiendo, yo volvería!!!

  Staff hugely helpful

  From my initial phone calls the the hotel for needed help with our rooms, the staff was kind and accommodating. Brittany helped us with some room adjustments and was exceptional in helping meet our needs.

  COMFORTS OF A HOME

  I travel quite a lot. In fact, I left a hotel in the French Quarter with haste and in a rage due to it being crazy, so I decided to take a stab in Uptown and I selected The Ponchartrain to refuge. Upon driving up, I was greeted with a smile at valet. Brittany at the front desk was SO sweet and accommodating. She was so happy to answer all my questions and she made sure I had the perfect room! After which, I immediately went to the rooftop for food and drinks and It was FABULOUS. The decor, the vibe..so luxe, lowkey and fun. My car battery ended up dying at valet and they were so kind in helping me get things back up and running. I felt completely safe and trusted they would handle it all. WARNING: this hotel makes you want o STAY HERE. I hated to leave. When I returned last night it was such a safe, cozy and wonderful spirit that cloaked the hotel. My room was so cool and inviting-- and SPICK AND SPAN. Im so excited to come back soon. In fact, this hotel will bring me back. I truly hate to leave. Dear Brittany and staff--THANK YOU for turning my trip around and making it the most memorable ever. There is no other hotel that compares and at this point I think I have stayed at them all LOL.   Great hotel and excellent reception

  This is our favorite hotel in Nola! The great experience starts with reception. Before we arrived, Brittany was helpful with our needs by phone and so wonderful. She reached out to us before we arrived as well and her warm welcome confined through our stay ( along with her dad, Jerry who also works reception and is also helpful and warm). The rooms at the Pontchartrain are unique and have a wonderful vintage New Orleans feel. Location is everything and the Pontchartrain is located uptown in the garden district but is also close enough to the French quarter and central business district. The sky top bar is an added plus!

  Wow!!!

  Cannot say enough about this hotel! From the valet, door service, front desk and rooftop bar and views...this place was amazing. Reservations were made directly with the hotel and Brittney was pleasure to work with. The father daughter duo (Jerry and Brittney) were a delight at check-in with information and history on the hotel. Our room, the Melpomene 2BR Suite, was beautiful and the view....well, pictures say a thousand words. The rooftop bar was open and we enjoyed cocktails and dessert along with the magnificent night views. The desserts were amazing! Thank you for an amazing experience!
