  Want a great staycation near Sacramento Area, this is place!

  The B&B was just the perfect get a way from our daily hectic schedules, it was great to unplug, no TV in the room. The breakfast was very good and the grounds were spacious, nice to take strolls. The pond with the jumping frogs was definitely a highlight. You are close to Grass Valley as well as Nevada City for dining options. Yes, there is great WiFi! The spa just outside the back door was a great way to relax before heading to bed.

  Wonderful, Serene, outstanding

  Beautiful hilltop site with views of Sierra foothills. Gorgeous sunsets, colorful foliage, beautiful pond. A real Oasis of quiet. Breakfast was substantial. Guy and his sister are great hosts. A wonderful getaway about 30 minutes from Grass Valley.

  Very pleasant stay

  We had an enjoyable time here. The inn is situated atop a pretty wooded hill. Views are very scenic and the grounds are lush with gardens. Accommodations were clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hosts are genuinely nice people. For the price of a modest hotel room we had a much more enjoyable experience.

  Beautiful Inn Spectacular Views

  And oh so quiet, did I mention that?! We came up for a wedding I was officiating further up the road at the Dutch Flat Hotel. Our stay here was much needed in this crazy Covid time. Gorgeous rooms and furniture in classic old country inn style. Of course in these strange times theres no longer a big delightful breakfast served but the continental offering was good and filling.

  Pleasant surprise and would rebook again but stay longer

  We stayed one evening as part of a 14 hour trek to visit family in Idaho. After a long drive we landed our intended evening accommodation in route. Guy was gracious and responsibly attentive provide dining advice (taken and spot on for our price pointe and food quality), history of the property and we were more than satisfied with our stay by value and amenities. They ambiance was quaint, homey and felt like a wonderful evening respite in the hills. Room and common area was spotless and Covid precautions plus, plus attended to and in summary we enjoyed the gardens flora and the evening fauna delight of a deer pack grazing in the grass. We would stay again in a moment except next time we stay longer and take more of the Inn and the surrounding area in as well. Family operation with every detail attended to with care and appreciation for their guests.
