Un oasis de Jazz y de relaxLa verdad es que ahora entiendo lo que son los espejismos, los pequenos milagros q aparecen de la casi nada .. El Hotel, residence es enorme y fabuloso, dotado de todo lo que se puede desear. Staff cordial, atento y a la altura de la situación . Si pasas mas de una semana lo unico que me parece destacar es que te aburres del menu, independientemente de los 3/4 restaurantes, buffet, al final es siempre igual pero de buena calidad.

Probably the Best hotel west of TunisWe did a 3 day long weekend stay here in late august 2020 (3 member Canadian family from Tunis to here) Covid19 Protocols- Very impressed with signage, sanitizer everywhere and safety protocols; thank you. First impression at check-in was a bit bizarre with a bit of confusion over the billing regarding the fact we forgot to list our 3yr old son on the itinerary. Basically even if no additional bed is required for the toddler; they will charge an additional amount per night which was quite high considering he would be sleeping with us and not eating very much of their food. We tried to deal with this and talk to the manager but unfortunately we were met with one of the team at reception who was very unprofessional in how he dealt with us. (Big mohamed with blue suit; older mohamed; not the younger mohameds). Essentially he left us with the choice to take it or leave it and get out. We agreed to the terms; paid and went to our room. Later at check out we saw him again but this time arguing; finger pointing and having a visible dispute with another guest. Basically this guy should not be interacting with customers. Wifi- spotty at best but basically worked (not great) Food -- we are a Vegan family (don't eat meat, fish, eggs, cheese or dairy) but that doesn't mean we don't want to eat as well as the others. We could tell right away that the hotel was not set up to fully appreciate vegan guests because there was no hot entrees for us; only bread, salad and a mix of vegetables or maybe a pasta. Thankfully we met with Chef Mounir who is a very hard working and caring man. He offered to make us a special dish each morning which we were very grateful for. He made us a chickpea tomato masala, some roast potatoes and mixed veggies, mushrooms. Earlier however before we met the Chef; we had an incident at the wave restaurant water front outdoors where they served my arrabiatta pasta with a bunch of tuna fish on it despite me reminding the server 3 times not to put any fish, meat, cheese etc on my pasta. They didn't listen or take it seriously and instead of making a fresh dish for me they scraped the tuno off and left a lot of it in the pasta which I noticed half way through. So yes the staff, management definitely need to get on par with Vegans and Vegetarians. I strongly suggest a vegan menu a la Carte and put some effort into it please. The hotel has a fantastic and unique spa and water treatment facility. Very impressive, super professional staff and very comfortable. First class facility which we used 4x during our stay! The gym is clean and well set up with a fantastic Coach Rached who is very knowledgeable and has a great personality; I highly recommend spending some time with him there Tues-sunday. The room we booked was simply a double bed superior room with a balcony but not much of a view (Roof view). I liked the way the room was set up however the bed mattress was Way too soft. other standard reviewing marks here: Loyalty Program: Marriott Bonvoy (Excellent awards program). Our status: Plat.elite Initial Greeting at Check-In: First impressions of the Room: as expected but poor wifi and bed way too soft Bag assistance and staff friendliness/professionalism: MOST people we met were very professional and accomodating TV/Entertainment: mostly news channels (english ); no youtube or netflix options unless you BYOD (Bring your own HDMI device and ask tech services to help connect to your TV). By the way their remote sucked and barely worked. They should actually just leave the original SAMSUNG TV remotes for those high end samsung TV's in the rooms. Wifi quality: 20% works; choppy EV Charging station: YES but Porche destination charger / Tesla plugs only (no J1772) Environmental policy: I didn't notice any recycling containers or suggestions. Their garbage pales were tacky sea animals in the yard (put your trash in a giant plastic dolphin or giant frog which is wrong on many levels). Environmentally it's a failing grade also due to the high meat consumption and offerings (Meat/dairy is a leading cause of climate change). Food and Restaurants on site: Buffet brek/dinner and some a la carte bars and waterfront restaurants Spa, Pool and Gym: Spa --5/5, pools .. 4 atleast; gym A+ (Coach Rached is amazing) Club Lounge if applicable: Sleep Quality/Bed: WAY too soft Ensuite amenities/Fridge etc: yes mini fridge Location: great location just on the edge of town Parking: easy and free with some covered parking which is helpful in the hot summer., Other Mentionables:

Best quality servicesI am originally from the north west area and I did only one night for the purpose to explore the Hotel and the services offered there, as expected everything went well, I was very impressed by the cleanliness, tidiness and Covid 19 protocols treatment guidelines was extremely respected, so I had the feeling that I am completely safe ! Great welcome in the beginning at the reception from Mohammed Abidli one of the team there he was super nice, respectful and so professional, we get a welcome drink while filling out the forms and he introduced and showed us corners of the hotel, also the staff was everywhere to support, so caring about the residents ! the services was in a high quality and generous, the food simply so fresh : fish, meat, fruits ... The views from the hotel was super gorgeous and incredible, specially at the sunset Simply I enjoyed the time there and it is really worth to spend a night there ! Thank you La Cigale

Due to staff shortcomings did not met expectationsIt is really difficult to rate the stay. Although it is a beautiful hotel it has also many shortcomings that I would not expect from a 5-star hotel and during the pandemic season when there are almost no tourists. First impression was good: we have booked the stay with hotels.com and had to postpone the trip therefore we have contacted the hotel and received a confirmation for our new date without any problem. Sea view villa was nice, spacious and met our expectations. Although the kettle was not working properly - I had to hold the button to boil the water and there was no coffee machine (only some instant coffee bags). Since we just came from another hotel (4 stars) where we had good coffee in the room, I found it surprising. The biggest issue was the mattress: VERY soft. Generally, you lay down you land in a hole. After the first night I woke up tired and with a back ache. We asked the housekeeping lady if they can do something - put an additional layer or change the mattress. The answer was NO. After the second night when I woke up in real pain we went to the reception and were told that the mattress can be flipped and that the bottom side should be less soft. This has been done, but unfortunately did not really help so before the night we went to the reception again and were offered another solution: exchange for a new mattress. New mattress was much better, although still too soft to my preferences. Bottom line is that we had to speak with several staff members to trigger the action. Food: breakfast buffet very good, with a nice choice of dishes. Everything fresh and tasty. Beach restaurant: some dishes excellent, some tasteless (grilled chicken that we actually left and mechouia salat without teste, very poor quality ice cream). Room service: absurd First you have to order the menu and the guy is waiting impatiently outside until you choose sth in a hurry. Baba ghanoush was a disaster plus it was served with bread rolls. Good French fries (served without ketchup though) and good spaghetti bolognese. In total we stayed 3 nights. We used the SPA, room service, restaurant, café. Basically left some money there. At the end we asked if we could check out 2h later since my Fiancé was working and had a conf call to attend. We were offered 30mins. Hotel is empty, no tourists around, rooms are vacant and the hotel cannot even make such a simple gesture. Not many staff members spoke sufficient English. We would like to greet Mrs Houda from the SPA and thank her for an excellent service!

Enjoyable HotelI enjoyed staying in La Cigale hotel in Tabarka. The hotel staff was very welcoming and hospitable. They did everything right to give me comfort Despite the Covid worries. Very clean. The food was good. I enjoyed the most the Massage and hydrotherapy in the SPA. Nice experience
