  Hotel in Vichy

  Overall ok but the room and especially the bathroom is old. It is not the same as the hotel photos displayed during the reservation. I would advise to take a room on the first floor rather than second because it is very dark up there!

  Klein aber fein!

  This Hotel is very good situated, close to the promenade, looks like family business with very good attention to the client, their give me some restaurants address, and as soon you tell their recommended you the place you get a big smile, so, believed from people around too! The rooms are small but with everything you need, quiet, clean and nice. The breakfast is a little poor but good.

  Great hotel

  Great hotel in Vichy centre. Great restaurant and attentive staff. Dog friendly. A la Carte restaurant was excellent with great service. Staff explained the menu to us as we could not understand all of the French menu. The room was small but very cozy and comfortable. Recommend.

  Wonderful night in Vichy

  We stayed one night at this lovely hotel during a vacation trip and we enjoyed it. Hotel is very charming with beautiful rooms, great showers in the modern bathroom. We recommend the breakfast and service is wonderful.

  deceiving at first sight

  The Pavillon D'Enghien Hotels unimposing exterior in the rue Callou (aim for the big bright new Callou spa right across the road) may deceive at first sight, but this is a well-conceived downtown hotel which scores on several levels. Its near the town centre but also close to the promenade along the Allier, it has a cleverly maximised pool area quietly tucked away at the back with poolside tables for drinks and meals, a bright restaurant and a small lounge. Rooms are basically traditional but clean and bathrooms modern, beds are firm and comfortable, with good reading lamps (increasingly rare in these days of illuminated tablets). No coffee-maker but good coffee always available downstairs. Parking in the street is largely a matter of luck but spaces (no fee) tend to become available in the evening. Altogether very good value for money in a spa town where prices often tend to reflect days of former glory.
