  Thankfully we cancelled..

  I booked via booking.com with a free cancellation as our plans were not yet confirmed for late March. I cancelled the booking on the 28th January and yet to see the refund for the 50% deposit debited smartly from my credt card 2 days after the booking was made. After numerous emails unanswered and phone calls not returned, looks like i will go down the old fashioned route via my bank. Even though i work in hospitality management myself, my expecatations are not that high but this lack of basic service dumbfounds me and i feel embarrased for them and slightly sad to be honest. Thankfully we were unable to honour the booking and experience their 'service'. I sincerely hope they get their act together...

  Disgustingly Unprofessional Manager

  Rooms where were not professionally cleaned. No one was there to greet guests on arrival to show them to their room. I found cat hair all over my pillow as he owns two cats that are allowed in the rooms. I heard the Manager talking to a guest and he was just so rude. Told her if she did not like it then go somewhere else. "Not my problem" he explained. I saw him drinking beer at 10 am in the morning so I guess that says a lot. I also expected a nice games room so our family could play a game of table tennis ect. There was no games room like advertised in the pictures.

  Very Disappointed

  Booked this venue via WOTIF, cancelled within an hour of booking due to our event being cancelled, 50% of booking was taken from my account on that day even though it was free cancellation. Have emailed WOTIF 3 times and the venue as well to no avail, have not even had acknowledgement from either party. I am a hotel owner myself and would not treat customers in this way.

  Badly in need of a Spruce Up

  Not quite sure what was going on. The lady who showed us to our room ( The Presidential Suite?) appeared to be new, although she tried to be helpful. Never saw the owner. Our room was spacious and clean but a cupboard had been removed from my side of the bed and replaced with a sheet of A4 paper that had been sticky taped on! There was no hair drier so I had to borrow one from a member of staff! The gardens and walkways were very much in need of care and the poor fish in the pond are not long for this world unless there home is cleaned out and the rubbish removed. The continental breakfast was average

  Not a nice weekend away

  Bad stay with dirty spa water noisey heater at night and the general room was not that nice with dead bugs on carpet more basic utensils in room would be nice and a very basic fridge also a hole in the roof with tape over it to cover.Overall not worth $240
