You get what you pay for

Stayed for four days so that we could extend our holiday. Was very cheap so wasn't expecting much and didn't get much! Room was very basic and beds rock hard. Bathroom was typical Greek some 10 years ago. Hand held shower with no shower curtain. No hot water on one day. Exterior was lovely - nice gardens, great pool and fab views. Could be wonderful if they gave the rooms a makeover. If I was in my early twenties looking for somewhere cheap and convenient and wasn't too bothered about modern bathrooms etc then this is a great option. Not so much for a family with a little boy in toe. Having said that he loved the pool and we had it to ourself every day. He also loved the resident dog!

A bad start to our holiday.

We stayed here 4 nights, it was the worse place ever. The manager was pleasant enough, stated that we had the best room. There was no information provided about the property or how any cleaning regime works, he was more interested in selling us quad bikes and making sure we visit certain restaurants. Once he left we were able to look at the room and try to settle in. It was then that we noticed dirt, dead bugs and live ants were falling from the ceiling cracks onto the bed, pic attached. We mentioned it to the manager and he stated that he checked the room himself, really. It was too late to get it dealt with and he said it would be taken care of the next day The next day came and they did some work on the problem, but made it worse. We heard nothing about it the next day, then our last day they did more work, but, it did not fix the problem. It was an awful night's sleep every night feeling things falling on you and crawling on you. We had to take the top cover outside in the morning and evening to shake it off. This was handled pretty poorly and we were offered not apology. The pool side bar is never open and is it not ready to be open at all. The pool does not look very inviting, was not very blue or crystal clear. Pic attached. The room itself was lacking in space to keep luggage and actually manouver around, whilst there is a small kitchen, there is no table to eat at inside the room. The shower room, was just finished in concrete on the floor and walls. The drainage from the shower took forever to drain away and clear from the open wet floor. This meant that if you get showered and dressed, you have to go back in with the floor wet with pools of water that took more than 24 hours to dry, so it was a daily problem. It was a daily struggle to get hot water for a shower, one day we struggled to get any water in the morning. In the toilet, there was a constant sewage smell coming from the drain in the floor, we had to keep the bath mat over it to avoid the smell. The room itself was very dusty on the selves above the bed, picture attached. The outside light by the entrance door did not work, so was difficult to see in the dark when returning from dinner. The outside patio area was dirty and not swept before and the whole time we were there. Whilst a perfectly good location, the attention to detail in the rooms is very poor, it shows that they only care about the money, we will not recommend this place ever.

    Avoid at anytime

Bad, Bad, Very Bad, Very Very Bad. Where to start ? Maybe from the fact you can almost feel the blast from the aircraft landing and taking off ! By the way we did ask how far it was from the airport. The response was '' you won't hear nothing''. Then let's talk about the pool bar, well I cannot there is none this was advertised that you can get food and drinks the bar is closed down. No supermarket close by only in the town around 20mins walk. The local children and people who are not staying here come as use the pool it's very noisy and all the local digs come to your room. The host is rude they bang on your door early morning asking you questions. If you don't answer they keep knocking. Now safety wise for young childs it's also very bad, see photos and you will understand. And last but not least if you want you room to be cleaned up you will have to leave your keys on the door. So don't leave anything valuable in  the room obviously. Avoid Avoid Avoid !

    Clean very welcoming

We stayed here for 4 days and we couldnt have enjoyed our stay, the villa was clean and spacious it was cleaned every day with clean linen. The pool was clean, the pool bar was closed but we didnt need it opening. The property is near the airport but the noise isnt as bad as people have commented, and there is one day that there was about 8 flights but on the rest of the days we had the maximum of 4. Its in walking distance to Skiathos Town and the shops, and a great little tavern close by. The staff and management were amazing and attentive and I would recommend this place and Im looking forward to going back, next year,

    Be prepared to hike

This accommodation was part of my package holiday and first visit to Greece. If you don't have your own transport, be prepared to walk from the bus stop to the hotel - about ten minutes. All uphill, and very steep from the pool and bar area to the actual rooms. The cleaning lady left the tiny bathroom window and patio doors open so when I got back to the room it was full of mosquitoes. The room had an air conditioner but my Tu i travel agent forgot to tell me that I would have to pay an extra 6 Euros per day. I personally did not enjoy my stay here and moved to another hotel after two nights so I could be closer to town and in a much brighter, mosquito free room.
