  Great location on the most unspoilt part of Crete

  Villa rooms are great - the service and friendliness of Afroditi and Maria always make us feel welcome (4 visits now!). Its a few minutes walk to the beach with free sunloungers at every bar. About ten restaurants so always varied for two week holiday but never feels too busy or over-built. We love popping to the bakery each day for fresh bread and spanakofita and sitting on the balcony admiring the view :)

  Slice of paradise!!

  Has become my favourite place to stay in Makry Gialos,lovely owners that could not be more helpful.Clean fresh rooms with amazing views and breakfast as well should you wish,if you fancy a swim beautiful pool and only five minutes to shops and stunning beach,taverns most with amazing food a very peaceful and restful part of southern Crete to stay on the glistening Lybian sea!

  Fabulous weekend away

  We stayed at the charming Afroditi hotel in Makry Gialos for 3 nights and was very happy with the apartment. We had a sea view and lovely comfortable apartment with everything we needed to hand. We enjoyed it so much that we spent a great deal of the time we were there simply enjoying the view from the balcony. We have visited this lovely little resort on numerous occasions but never tire of returning and hope to go back again very soon. The Afroditi is a beautifully clean and welcoming place to visit and I can't recommend it highly enough. The image is the fabulous view from our room

  We loved every moment

  We had a few lovely days in Afroditi Apartments. Afroditi herself is a friendly and welcoming person. The rooms were clean and big enough. And we loved the breakfast. We will go there again when we are on Crete next time.

  Lovely setting

  Stayed here in September 2020, the apartments are lovely and cleaned regularly. Near the beach and have a lovely pool. Resort was quieter than usual but was bliss to recharge to batteries. Would highly recommend gusto on the sea front, great service and there is a very nice bakery in koutsouras - 5min drive called Arto
