  Inside much nicer than the outside

  Stayed here as part of a small group tour. From the outside the hotel looks rather tatty but inside it was very pleasant. The hotel is central - five minutes walk from the main square. The room was on the small side but quite adequate and very nicely appointed. The only problem was that the duvet on the large double bed was too small for the bed which meant that the occupants have to sleep close together if they are both going to be covered up! Not very comfortable! Breakfast was fine, if not the best I had in nine nights in Albania. The staff were very friendly and helpful and those I spoke to had very good English. Overall I was happy with the hotel - apart from the duvet!

  Good Hotel but double price for the taxi service

  I stayed at Hotel Comfort one night. It's comfortable, cozy and has a nice service in general. However, there was one thing i didn't appreciate. At the reception they suggested me a taxi service the hotel uses usually. When i arrived at my destination,the taxi driver charged me the double of the price they indicated at the hotel. That moment i couldn't call back the hotel in order to notify them but am leaving this review, hoping this unpleasant experience will not be repeated with other clients.

  clean, friendly and helpfull

  we have been 2 people in a doubble room from 10-14 april 2015. a friend of us reccomanded us this hotel. it is very close to the center of the city, 7 min, walk. and the area is very quiet - in the center it is loud and busy all day and all night. the room was clean, cleand up every day well. it was tiny room, but no problem for us. the braekfast was ok, there was a tiny selection, but you just asked for something you like and they prepared it imediately and also for the next days :) the people where very, very friendly and helpful, that was very nice and gave a very good feeling. the bar is frequented by many local people. At the End they even made us pay less than agreed at the beginning - where have you seen that before? Free WIFI of course, the connection was not always the best, but it was ok.

  very nice comfortable rooms, great location

  this is a very conveniently located hotel near shops, great bars and within easy walking of the official central square and area. My room was great - spacious, comfortable and a very well stocked bar and nice bathroom. the staff and the owner in particular was great and very helpful despite the lack of a mutual language. my only downside was the awful breakfast. great coffee though. but they have great produce being sold right on the street for half nothing and they could really make more of it to serve a fresh breakfast with a bit of thought but not at much cost. there are also great bakeries across the road so you wont go hungry! but the breakfast in the hotel was deep fried something that was freezing cold as were the eggs and it was mostly that it is such a complete waste of food as no one ate it any day i was there so i wondered what they did with it and why they didn't ask why no one ate it. overall thought this is a very pleasant reasonably priced place to stay in what feels like a busy lively neighbourhood. do visit hemingway bar nearby - great live music and lovely cultural feel to the place. hotel also had very good internet connection which was helpful for working.

  near to Skanderberg square

  Well situated downtown. English spoken personnel. Buffet breakfast. Rooms dimension vary from quite small to medium. computers available on the first floor and free wifi throuhout the hotel. Airconditioning was not working in our room in mid-october even though it was really hot and since there was only a comforter in the bed and no sheets it was hard to get a good sleep.

  A NO for me.

  This hotel gets an average from me because it is centrally located, the room was clean, the young lady at the front desk in the evening was so very nice and helpful, the morning clerk was nice as well as the lady in the breakfast cafe. Outside of those things, the worse was the smell of cigarette smoke that seeps into your room from the cafe below. I had to wear a mask while in the room. That smell was mostly at night when you are trying to sleep (we normally leave and return late in the evenings). I did not complain since I am sure there was little that nice young lady could do about it. Plus, to walk into the hotel, you will have to walk by the extremely smokey cafe attached to the hotel. Also awful was what they termed breakfast. Absolutely beneath the pit. My wife and I had a good laugh when a lady and her husband came down the second day to eat, took a look at what was displayed and immediately turned around and walked off disgusted. Hahaha. But, yes, the breakfast was dreadful! Just go and seek breakfast somewhere else. Also, I also got a chuckle on reading a sign that says you cannot take breakfast from the cafe to your room. My goodness! Who would take any food from that cafe?! Hahaha. Anyway, just go someplace else if you do not enjoy sleeping with the smell of cigarette smoke. For me, a C grade is more than appropriate.

  Saved last minute

  We toughen we booked but turned out we selected wrong city in Albania. Comfortable beds and clean room with AC and fridge. Wish there was a safe, but the staff was very helpful and fix our booking error and got us a room last minute at great price. The bar is very chill. Too bad I couldnt taste the breakfast but they got us a sandwich to take at 5 am. Its also in great location not far from center 5 min walk.

  The best hotel

  Everything good, good service, nice room, excellent breakfast and delicious. I recommend this hotel in city center near scanderbeg square. Nice bar on site and delicious restaurant on site. Polite staff service.
