  hotel left alot to be desired

  just returned from a national holiday coach trip to lake garda. arrived at the hotel after fourteen hours on the bus only to find out there was no airconditioning but we secured a fan. the staff were rude and dismissive especially in the bar area. charged one euro fifty for a glass of ice. appeared that they lacked in communication skills and really weren't interested in us. the food was lousy but the waitress was so very nice. all in all, i would never go back and national holidays should not be using this hotel

  Stay away

  Myself and my mother in law returned last Saturday from this hotel. I understand this was a small family ran buisness but the owners were very rude towards us and other hotel guests.  The room itself was very basic with no cettle allowed to make a tea (4 charged for a small cup at the bar) and not included as freebee in the evening which I found very misleading when advertised as "free bar service".  The biggest struggle was the air conditioning. As you can imagine it was very hot at that time and my mother in law being in her 60's didn't take it well so we had the balcony open and suffered from moskito bites. I heard some hotel guests were charged for ice by the owners which I found completley out of order. The hotel itself had a swimming pool but the facilities were mostly occupied by the owners children splashing wather around and being loud. My in law enjoyed the sun lounges rest on the evening due to her swallen ankles but when the hotel owners spotted us resting there they have closed the gate for us not to acces the facilities. One one day we were told that we are not respecting the hotel owners for not finishing the drinks off from the free bar. I found it really inappropriate.  Never in my traveling life I have experienced such a bad treatment at any of the hotels.

  Poor Customer Service

  Unhappy with the following: Single occupancy room was small but clean. No air-conditioning. As it was very hot, I requested a fan. Safe Deposit locker did not work. Host did not provide drinking water or wine for dinner. If we wanted water or wine, we were asked to purchase the same. Bar service was not good. Servers did not have a smile and looked annoyed at us for requesting a drink. I was expecting good Italian food but it was disappointing. Dinner without wine did not make sense. A couple of positive feedback: Hostess Ariana was trying hard to please the guests. In the dinning room there was one waitress who always had a smile and nice to guests.

  Quality at a good price

  Just a 2km from the lake Garda and Riva del Garda city center. Very good accomodation. Very welcoming staff, restaurant inside and free garage included, swimming pool. Very close also to Cascata del Varone. Nice rooms and very clean! Recommended!

  Never ever

  We got a room across the street, opposite reception. Room was very small and with really old stuff. With two smal children really unuseless. No air condition, and few meters directly under windows road with a lot of traffic, almost scooters with tuned exhaust. So you can choose between night without sleeping because of really traffic noise with opened windows, or because really high temperature inside room. The food was average.
