  AWFUL. DO NOT RECOMMEND

  This is a poorly run business. I made a booking through booking.com which I subsequently had to cancel. I did so on 28/08/2019 expecting my deposit to be automatically refunded however this was not the case. I have sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls to no avail. It now appears my number has been blocked or is being rejected as it wont even ring through any more. 4 months down the track and it seems I am never getting my refund back.

  Basic as a Backpackers

  This motel should be renamed a backpackers as the facilities were most definitely not to a motel standard. The room had no information booklet about the motel or Hastings. The furnishings and decor were definitely past their use by date and need a major upgrade. The stairwell to the upstairs units was absolutely filthy, obviously never been cleaned. The jumbo bin used for motel rubbish was smelly and full to overflowing and on full view of the motel exit. Not a good look. I wish I had read the reviews before staying here. A very poor image for Hastings.

  Not Impressed

  The shower didn't drain properly so it meant you were standing in soapy water. The plant box at the top of the stairs had rubbish in it. The woman on reception was unhelpful. The notice at the front said "Units from $59", but these were apparently only dorm beds. False advertising.

  Very basic and buildings filthy

  Apple was overpriced and filthy and an accident hazard No lights in the stairwell, Swallow nests and faeces on the stairs, broken electrical fittings and appliances Etc A total ripoff and TripAdvisor should be disgusted recommending it.

  main motive of stay was to visit the water park (splash planet)

  Me and my friends visited to the splash planet water park from there its hardly 5 to 10 min so location is pretty good but after checking in we were so tired and because of summer it was hot and the room did not have a table fan and all over the room there were so many flies, we could not sleep the whole night, instead of giving a fan they had provide us a electric heat blanket. No soap was provided in one of the room.
