  This location is an old Motel 6. It offers a decent room for a relatively low price. The rooms have a small fridge and microwave. I would go back again for the low price. The one stupid thing they did was to put black colored numbers on the doors with the doors painted a very dark blue. It very hard to read the number at night. The sign is not lighted at night, so it can not be seen at night from I-20.

  THEY SUCK !! GROSS !!! AND CROOKED !!!!

  When I booked the room thru hotels.com, that paid for my room because they took the charges out of my account. Upon arrival to the hotel to check in they asked for my ID and credit card just for verification and low and behold they charged me too !!!! So I was double billed and received and notice from my bank of overdraft fees and charges and nobody at hotel.com has been cooperative even though I sent them the proof they needed from the bank of the double billing. I'm so mad that I'm personally going to make a trip back to that DUMP and throw my fit to get my money refunded including all my bank fees.

  No soap!

  The online pictures look decent, but the room I stayed in was very drab and cheap looking. The bed seemed really old and sagged in the middle. The AC was really loud, but at least that helped cover up the loud interstate noises outside. The main problem was that when I got in my room, I noticed that there was no soap- no hand soap, no bath soap, nothing. I called the front desk and the guy said "Yeah, we ran out. I think we're getting more in tomorrow." I suggested he get some out of an empty room and bring it to my room. He said no, there wasn't any to get. He conferred with someone else, asking "We're getting more soap tomorrow morning right?" Really??!!! If there's someone else there, why didn't he run into town and buy enough soap to get them through until they got more in??? He did suggest "There may be some in the vending machine in the lobby." Well, if there is, shouldn't you GET IT OUT and bring it to my room!!! Unbelievable! Had a creepy feel to the place too. Only nice thing I can say about it is that it seemed to be clean, and there was a small fridge and microwave in the room. (Didn't use either, so don't know if they were working.) Would NOT stay here again, even though the price was lowest in town.

  Roach motel

  Upon arrival, room had 4 roaches on the wall, carpet was filthy and the heather was a wreck. Moved to another room hoping it was just an isolated incident. Room appeared better. No visible sign of roaches until morning. Save your money. Go somewhere else!!!
