    Best in the Business

There are a few times in my life I have been able to describe a situation as a happy accident. Our entire trip to Cape Cod was a happy accident. My husband and I had planned to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Maine and up until 2 days prior to our arrival we were packed and ready to go. Then in the crazy world of covid, our plans had to change and fast when new travel restrictions were put into place, and rightly so. We quickly had to pivot and began looking for romantic getaways within Massachusetts. Immediately, Ashley Manor appeared and from the photos alone, we knew this would be it. We drove over the next day and were instantly greeted with the warmth of Keiths hospitality. He safely showed us around, he explained the process for keeping guests safe and then allowed us to pick what time breakfast would work for us. Within these first few minutes I knew we were staying somewhere special. That night my husband and I settled into our room (The Queen's Suite is perfection, including a fireplace) and decided to sit in the main area and have a glass of sherry (complimentary because they think of everything). Keith found us and offered to start a fire for us so we could enjoy the night, he even made fresh baked cookies and brought some to us personally. We spent time chatting with him, talking about their journey to the bed and breakfast business and just learning about him and Allisons life. I felt like I was honestly talking to friends. Allison greeted us the next morning as a true ray of sunshine. She was again full of warmth, genuine hospitality and humor. Day after day, the hospitality just continued and before I knew it, I felt like we had lifelong friends in the team of Keith and Allison. Outside of the keepers themselves, the food was unbelievable. I felt honestly unworthy of such high quality meals considering we booked a day prior to our trip. I could go on and on about the food and found myself taking photos each morning, with excitement to jump out of bed and see what was next. The attention to detail was also top notch level. I have worked in hospitality and concierge for years and to see this delivered at this level in a bed and breakfast is something I never expected. Keith not only remembered our anniversary, he dropped of a bottle of champagne in the room and even offered us to extend one night at a discounted price. On our final day, I think we spent our entire breakfast talking to them both. We spoke about our plans for the future with a new home ourselves, kids, our careers, The Queens Gambit, truly it felt like staying with friends. I think about this trip often, I think about how this accidently change of plans turned into us having the most incredible experience that we will now make an annual tradition with our new friends at Ashley Manor. I cannot emphasize enough how badly you need to stay here. This happy accident turned into the best anniversary we have ever had. Thank you Keith, Allison and Ashley Manor! And see you soon!

    Beautiful B&B in Barnstable

Ashley Manor exceeded my expectations! I called last minute on a cold Saturday searching for a place with a fireplace in the room. Luckily, they had availability. When I arrived, Keith, the owner, greeted my friend and me. He was very pleasant, shared a little history of the old B&B, and showed us around. Its tastefully decorated, very bright, and has gorgeous old pine floors. Keith had recommended the Queen Charlotte, and the room did not disappoint. Very large with a king size bed, huge tub and separate bathroom with shower, it was very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. Alison and Keith cooked and served the homemade meal and are a lovely couple. I wished I could have stayed longer, and Im already looking forward to my next visit.

    Perfect Girls Weekend

This was my second stay at Ashley Manor- and the first for my two girlfriends that joined for a fun weekend escape. As hospitality professionals ourselves, it is clear that Allison and Keith (the owners and operators) come from careers in hospitality. The breakfasts are incredible, the cookie jar is always full (and usually warm with cookies fresh out of the oven!), the jacuzzi tubs (and included bath salts) are luxurious, and the fireplaces are lit. One of the days we only left to go to dinner because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Aside from all of the small, hospitable touches, a stay at Ashley Manor is like a stay with old friends. Allison and Keith are so genuinely warm and welcoming, it feels like a stay with family (except you don't have to help with the dishes!). Part of the joy of visiting Ashley Manor is seeing them. We can't wait to visit again!

    Phenomenal weekend escape

Ashley Manor is a real standout in area full of charming and historic bed and breakfasts , located on the famous Kings Highway in Barnstable, on Cape Cod. We decided to run away from our home on Marthas Vineyard and spend the weekend before Christmas on Cape Cod. We have stayed in many lovely places on the Cape over the years , but Ashley Manor has raised the bar for a bed and breakfast experience in the area. The Inn is beautiful , historic and charming , but updated with just the right amount of modern amenities , that fit perfectly with the character of the property. A great deal of care went into the recent renovations and it shows. We loved the jacuzzi in the room, and the large open feel of the bedroom was a huge plus. As it was a chilly night , we made good use of the lovely fireplace and it was a perfect addition to the surroundings. The bed was perfect, and the location was nice and quiet , even though the Inn is right on busy Route 6A. Breakfast was wonderful as well, everything was home made and prepared perfectly by the innkeepers , Keith and Allison , who were gracious hosts as well as terrific chefs. The Inn is very close to Hyannis, as well as Yarmouthport , Mashpee, and Sandwich , making it very convenient for exploring the mid Cape. If you are looking for a cozy and romantic escape to the Cape and want to avoid the noise and traffic of the busier neighborhoods, do yourself a huge favor and stay at the Ashley Manor. You may not want to stay anywhere else.We look forward to staying again soon. Thank you Keith and Allison for a truly relaxing and beautiful stay.

    New Owners, Wonderful Hospitality

Keith & Allison went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Our suite was super (covid) clean & comfortable, everything we needed at hand. Keith's culinary passion shined with our breakfast - each course (yes, course!) and every bite a celebration! Allison & Keith have created an atmosphere of comfortable hospitality for guests without losing the classic historic vibe of the Inn. A wonderful stay in the winter, can't wait to come back in the Spring!
