  great one night stay in the forests around Moscow

  we were inviited by friends to spent some time in the forests about 45 km from Moscow.. it is in the middle of green farm land right next to a river with a lot of forest around.. great spot.. it looked very well maintained and although we were told upfront that check in time is unusual 6 pm and checkout is a great 4 pm, when we arrived at about 4 pm we could move straight in the room which was a studio with income hall and small salon with a couch... the room was nice and very clean with a nice size bathroom.. nice balcony.. good 4 star quality.. we went to the forest BBQ area where you find open air cottages with a BBQ and a river view if you like. the hotel provides a big bag of charcoal and shiskebab swords to rig the meat on.. our friends brought delicious spring onion, meaty tomatoes, gurkins and marinated meat... the cottage has 2 tables with table linen and benches.. it was a great lunch in the middle of the forest. after that we hired some gocarts and pedalled around the big property... later we joined the bar with a dance floor and a small band/DJ who were playing enjoyable music.. the guests started dancing at the first song and with the kids dancing aswell it was a great night.. the vodka and russian snacks like potato and haring did go extremely well... we intended to go horse riding at nearby manege but unfortunately they don't take foreigners who dont speak Russian as a matter of safety.. but overall it was a great stay.. will do that again..

  OK Place, not really internationally proven

  Hotel is located in a green area. There is a Little park surrounding the Hotel including a river and a nice Restaurant in a boat. Nice for a walk, but other than that it is a Little away from anything else. The Hotel stuff can hardly speak english, most of them work with Google Translate from the phone. So it is difficult to communicate. The rooms are OK for sleeping, the whole place is more a Holiday place for Russians than anything else. In the evening they offer even Animation program in the Restaurant, including mini Disco. Breakfast is only provided after 8am. Again not ideal for Business travels.

  Are you kidding? All inclusive??? 3 bedroom cottages???

  My wife and I booked for a weekend night to enjoy our one year wedding anniversary with our friends. The representative guaranteed a cottage with 3 bedrooms for 3 couples over the phone. We arrived early on Saturday and were given an area on the river for shashlik with our frineds. Nice spot. All inclusive - bbq's, coal, lighter fluid, nice, quiet even though close to other places. Great afternoon. The delight ended when we checked in. The cottage had three bedrooms but one with a single bed. So one of the couple had to sleep in the living room. Very poor pull out sofa. Noisy. Very light - exit signs in cottage, no black out shades, noisy. One couple in distress. The reception said they could do nothing - although it was reasonable for them to give one couple a regular room in the hotel since there was about 85% vacancy. The next day the general manager was surprised they had not done that. So were we. As for the rest - all inclusive dinner was a childrens animation theatre. Loud Russian kid songs. No other restaurant to eat at. The food on the buffett sucked. Steam table swill. The red wine was not drinkable. All inclusive does not include about 60% of the activities and food options at the hotel. Karaoke room a cramped small area for an additional fee. Pool closes early. To be fair, the hotel sent over a bottle of sparkling wine and 2 desserts for our friends who tossed and turned all night. But they had left much earlier. The general manager was very understanding. But after the fact. If you have a ton of kids this might be a fine place for you. And for normal adults - 3 couples and a single it was terrible.

  Not even a 1 star hotel

  Studio for 3 ... is a 2 single beds and sofa ... poor reception. Look old its like am in an old Econo lodge ... dont expect service they can make you wait for hours. I had to call my travel agency and tried to change hotel.

  Escape from the city

  If you want to escape the city noise this the place you want to be. A nice hotel with a variety of sport activities. The food was good but not so tasty. We faced problem with the staff as they dont speak english.
