  Avoid at all costs ...

  I am writing this during a small window of opportunity when the internet is operating. As usual, the hotel blames the ISP for the problem - an excuse I have come across many times before: and it is never true. The hotel provides no services unless they are demanded. Rooms are not made up unless you ask twice. The kitchen is slow and the food poor. It is a cheap but not cheerful stay. Just avoid it. I normally don't try to save a few dollars on a budget hotel - and I won't again - its not worth it.

  Good value

  Every time I travel to Jeddah for work I try to book into the Auris Hotel. The location is good for my office but the hotel is also good and keeps a decent standard of service. The rooms are big, Internet good and the rooms have a desk which is plenty for the work I do in the room each day.

  Great Value for the Location

  I regularly stayed at the hotel for extended periods between February 2017 and November 2018. The hotel manager was outstanding, involved in every aspect of operation. The staff are responsive and rooms always clean. On par with many European 3 stars. It is not for those seeking luxury; but it does have a very homey ambiance and I was very comfortable staying there repeatedly and would do so again should the need arise.

  Below average

  Auris alfanar hotel in jeddah the reception staff in the morning needs more training ,they don't have any experience in hotel Business. Breakfast was very poor not much there Not even coffee, Only One elevator not enough to serve the hotel..

  Stay Healthy; Avoid It

  Reservations were made for five nights; my colleagues and I stayed for two and only because we were not in control of changing. Upon entering my room, I discovered black-colored mold all down one wall in the bedroom and black mold all around the bottom of the shower. After looking at all the available rooms, we chose the four with the least amount of mold. The breakfast selection was basic. My colleagues and I were the only people in the dining room in the evening. The first evening lights were out in most of the room and halfway through our dinner, a group of men came in with takeout food and proceeded to eat it in the dining room. The hotel was not maintained; it is in need of repairs and deep cleaning. My colleagues and I were not comfortable nor did we feel safe.
