  Beach access

  The only thing we didnt like was all the gates and having to have a key to the beach. Anyone could walk into the pool area but in order to get back from the beach a key was required. People from the street can access the pool area. Several guests thought the beach access didnt make sense when you could walk around the building and gain access to the building and pool area without a key but guests neede a key to get in from the beach.

  Great Location BUT Needs updated!

  Location was great!!! Room 207 is in need of many updates... we booked this after seeing pictures online....this room looked nothing like the pictures online. Burned out light bulbs, blood stained bath towels, dirty dishes in dishwasher upon arrival. A/C froze up. The vacuum cleaner is very dirty and has a very bad odor. On the bright side, they had all the items you need to take down to the beach - chairs, umbrella, etc. Would be nice if rooms and facility were keyless entry. Office personnel upon arrival was very friendly and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. We hope the elevator has been inspected as the certificate in it was expired.

  Room 303

  We stayed in room 303. The view is very nice. The beach was not crowded. There are lots of places within walking distance for food or drinks. The pool is large and heated. The staff is also pleasant. Everyone from the lady I made reservations with to the man painting the stairs. We will be back here.

  Picture perfect

  From when we arrived till we left, this resort accommodated all our needs. The apartment is spacious and clean. It is decorated beautifully. The view of the sea is breathtaking. The pool area is also lovely and was relaxing to lie around the pool. Each apartment has pool and beach equipment if needed. The kitchen has a few items left over from previous guest which helps a lot. E.g. sugar, salt etc The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would love to stay here again.

  Great location and view

  We enjoyed our stay at the Caprice. Its a great location with a terrific view of St. Pete Beach. The bed was very comfortable, and we used the pullout couch two nights when my brother popped in. Plenty of dishes and glassware in the kitchen.Lots of good restaurants within walking distance, too.
