  Affordable Bungalows in Splendid Location

  Location, Location, Location Beachfront property located at the Southern end of Chaweng Beach. Slightly run down (perhaps waiting for redevelopment), but clean and seemingly well done. Location is wonderful, away from the noise and crowds of the middle of Chaweng, but still with all the facilities and amenities for any tourist. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, staff are friendly. View of the rolling waves from the pool terrace is beautiful. Bungalow was roomy, cool, quiet and serviced daily. Would recommend to those looking for affordable 3 star.

  Old Style Hotel urgently needs maintenance

  If you like old style hotels (like we do) and you pay moren than 150/night ... then you can expect that is well-maintained and provides the luxury you expect to go with this price category. Unfortunately this was not the case here, Aa you can see by the pics ... Breakfast was ok, but warming coffee on an old-fashioned

  Simple Resort and nice beach

  We staying at this resort 8 nights. Nice cosy bungalows a bit old and easy access to the beach. Need improvements for clean area around swimming pool. Breakfast just ok. Overall is was nice stay at Chaweng resort . And next time will comeback to Samui and Chaweng resort again.

  Okay but sloppy

  Place is okay, is youre looking for a budget resort on the water this place will do. Rooms are a bit old and run down, breakfast is okay but not great and facilities are outdated and sloppy. Place could be really amazing & beautiful if a bit of money was spent on it, whether it will happen or not however is the question.

  Old, in desperate need of a makeover!!

  We booked the self contained 1 bedroom villa with plunge pool & jacuzzi / spa / COLD tub. Really an open plan bungalow with separate kitchen and bathroom. Yes it was private, but in desperate need of some TLC. Spa not working on arrival and no hot water in shower and kitchen sink this took two attempts to remedy by day three fixed! Kitchen stove, microwave bench top not very clean. Just old and poorly maintained. Overall the resort was in very poor condition pathways broken/uneven and somewhat dangerous. Restaurant open for breakfast then till 6pm. If breakfast was anything to go by eat somewhere else. Breakfast might be included but the options are quite poor. Pool area again requires an overhaul. On the upside which was a rarity, maintenance staff, housekeeping and hospitality staff were friendly amusing and helpful not so much the reception staff. Good location close to 50 odd restaurants within easy walking distance. 7-11s nearby. Roads and footpaths in the area are generally in very poor condition. This was once probably a grand dame of a resort but it appears it is an old lady and has just been left to wither and die!
