  Horrible, terrible, dirty! Avoid at any price!

  Very horrible, dirty & terrible! A run down place! A gay people place! Not advisable! Many bed bugs on bed, and kitchen stinks, and cockroaches! Reception not friendly and staffs are a bit twisted, not normal! Very far from city centre! At such a price, it is better to stay away from this hostel!

  SUPERB!

  I stayed in a single budget room. The room was clean. The fridge works. Linen was provided. I even had a room safe which I didn't use because I felt safe. It was worth the money. I'll return if I go back to Perth again.

  Highly recommend

  I stayed in this hostel for 8 weeks and I had such a great time here! This hostel has everything you need. Great equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms and quite rooms. Free good breakfast and you can play pool for free the whole time. The best thing s the friendly and helpful stuff. Thanks for making me feel like home!

  Our home in the weekends

  The first time we went to Coolibah Lodge, because a friend stayed here. We were so surprised! The owner, Steve, did our check in and was super friendly. He treats everyone as family, knows all the names, its so nice! He shows you around the whole hostel and introduces you to the rest. Thats for sure the reason why this hostel is so cool and easy to meet people. The rooms are cosy and everything is clean. I can only love this place, thats why we always go here if we spend our weekend in Perth! The location is really good. In a nice neighbourhood in Northbridge, walking distance to the city, clubs/bars and public transport. The four bed dorm is really nice. The 8 dorms can sometimes be more messy, because there are often people who stay here longterm and have a lot of personal stuff;) But I sleep in both of them and always had a good sleep and a nice time!

  Perfect place to chill

  Great quiet hostel for short or long term. Staff and backpackers are friendly & helpful. Not a party hostel but chill place to share a beer with people or watch a movie together. 15min walk from cbd !
