  Amazing scenery, hosts, accommodation and food.

  This was our first stay at Crestwood. Our hosts, Jan & Peter could not have been more gracious in their welcome. Our accommodation was perfect, our view from our suite was amazing, and our breakfast was delicious. Both hosts could not have been more wonderful. As a group we fully endorse and recommend this accommodation and will return again, without hesitation.

  Very nice hosts & excellent value for money

  Spacious accommodation at nice & quiet location with beautiful view. The hosts Janet & Peter are wonderful and truly interested in getting to know their guests. One feels completely at home at this bed & breakfast.

  A very welcoming B & B

  Situated at the top of the town and with great views out to sea this B & B is comfortable and very clean. Peter and Janet are excellent hosts. Having the whole of the top of the house to yourself - either with a party of 2 or a party of 4 - is a bonus. There were only 2 of us so we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The concrete balcony is quite small and not particularly comfortable and we preferred sitting inside with the doors wide open soaking up the view. Gibbo's on the wharf is an excellent place to buy great fish and chips.

  A most enjoyable 5 days in Whakatane

  We had the whole upstairs area to ourselves , much more comfortable to watch TV in the evening after being out all day. Breakfasts were served downstairs overlooking the garden and were usually leisurely affairs with Jan or Peter chatting about the area and suggesting what we might like to see or do. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. A very enjoyable time with great hosts.

  Luxury B&B

  Peter and Janet made us feel welcome from the off. We were given the upstairs suite with views across to Whale Island and the forest in the opposite direction. The information we were given helped with our stay and even the location helped with our leg muscles, although it may be advisable for some to use a car when going into town. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, thank you.
