  Great but simple

  Easy to book, prices are different on their website to other online sources but theirs comes with no cancellation fee. However, you can email them saying this and from my experience they match the lowest price you find. Very welcoming staff, minimal English but very accommodating and try to help in anyway they can. We stayed in the 'executive room', this essentially means private bathroom. Spacious and clean, but no storage room or safe. Downstairs, the bakery serves pastries and drinks all day, which is a wonderful smell to wake up to. Only downside is the noise: the walls/windows are quite thin and so you can hear everything, which meant we woke early most days. The bakery also provides lots of board games and drinking water. Considering how big Moscow is, the location is great. Virtually halfway between Taganskaya and Paveletskaya metros (15 mins by foot to each). Supermarkets are in close proximity. 30 mins walk to Red Square. Overall a great experience for my first time in Moscow. Would highly recommend.

  Nice and cozy Moscow hotel

  This hotel/hostel is also a bakery, and the croissants are delicious! You can smell them baking when you wake up. It's a super attractive place, with tables, book swap and lovely decorations on the walls. The double room was nice, though the walls/ceiling were thin and you could hear people walking around late at night/early in the morning, so probably not for super-light sleepers! Communal bathrooms were clean and there is fresh water provided. Location was walking distance to the metro (10-15 mins) and cafes/restaurants etc.

  They don't respect foreign guests and cheat with prices

  Don't try to book this hotel if you don't speak proper russian language! They can easily inflate the price 5 times before you arriving despite the fact that you booked a room a year ago! Moreover, they do not have a good english speaking staff!

  Be careful, they try to scam you for money

  When reserving their room they try to raise original price by several times! I guess that happens because of World Championship in Moscow and they try to scam their guests, who don't live in Moscow. Anyway this is very, VERY much shameful.

  WORLD CUP STAY

  After a disagreement with the hotel administration related to the world cup, everything went great. The place is mall but nice and clean. The staff including Nadya, Yuriy, Oksana, Lena, and Galina were extremely nice and helpful. They try to help you with directions, transportation etc. Plus they are remodeling the place starting with the bathrooms so you can enjoy better facilities. The place is 10 minutes from the Metro Station and a Train Station. If you are looking for something affordable and a good location, this is a good place to stay in Moscow.
