  Wonderful as always!

  Weve been visiting Degembris for around 20 years and cant stop coming back! The Stiddle is very comfortable and always beautifully maintained /spotlessly clean. Hannah, Andy and the family are friendly and approachable 10/10 would definitely recommend

  Lovely and peaceful with great breakfast

  Stayed at Degembris b & b for first time, it's a lovely peaceful location and I had a great view of the lake from my room (room 4). The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and modern, very good shower. There was a window seat with the view of the lake and the dressing table made a handy desk for my laptop. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices. Hosts very welcoming, will definitely want to stay there again next time I'm in Cornwall. Nice nature trial around the farm.

  Absolutely perfect

  Hannah was absolutely lovely! We had a room overlooking the amazing view. The bed was super comfy, although we could've done with harder pillows (personal preference). Our bedroom was super comfy, and had Netflix on the tv as well (bonus for relaxing in between trips!). It was super quiet as well. We had to order our breakfast the night before, which was fine, but we both had different menu options on our booking. Brilliant location, as it was only about 5/10 minute drive into Newquay, and easily accessible for other destinations. All relevant covid precautions were in place too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and happily recommend to others! Thank you :)

  Great cottage

  Had an amazing stay. The location of the cottage was amazing. Set amongst fields, it was super peaceful and even had its own lake. The cottage was super clean on arrival and extremely well equipped. The heating worked wonderfully and the showers were lovely and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stiddle and we will certainly be making a return trip. Thank you

  Home from home

  Im not one for writing reviews but on this occasion I felt compelled to. We recently stayed in the Chy-an-Oula (Owls House) which is a lovely homely cottage which comfortably sleeps four. Our stay was during the COVID-19 pandemic so there was an importance on extra measures with cleaning and sanitising. On arrival there was hand sanitiser in a holder at the door to be used on entry and exit during our stay along with other measures to help minimise the risk of infection and contamination. I often get accused of being too meticulous and expectant of high standards from others. Well I can honestly say that the cottage was probably the cleanest accommodation Ive ever rented and I can only applaud the efforts made to make the cottage this way. Everything seems to have been thought of, down to the wide range of kitchen utensils to the nice touch of scones with fresh clotted cream and jam on arrival, and very nice they were too. Outside theres a pleasant seating area where you can eat and drink if the weather is kind, we had rain and gales but it looked like it would be nice otherwise. The general grounds are well kept and theres a little walk you can do around the fields and fishing lake. Whilst we were on our stay we visited the butchers in East Newlyn which we can highly recommend if youd like to purchase some good quality meat for your meal. We also visited Newquay which was very easy to get to, taking only about 10-15 minutes by car. The general location is very good as all the main arteries are near by making it very easy to get out and see Cornwall and all its beauty. I would definitely stay here again and I can thoroughly recommend Degembris Farmhouse and cottages to anyone who feels the need to get away from the bump and grind of everyday life to have some deserved relaxation and quality time with your loved ones.
