  Great place. Great memory

  It feels like you are far from anywhere, but actually you are 10 minutes from Inverness and Loch Ness. Dinichean House is a special place, it offers excellent accommodation, as you would expect from the 5* rating as well as an idyllic Highland experience, surrounded in beautiful woodland complete with deer. We would certainly recommend spending some time at Carols house.

  A lovely experience

  I'm surprised by the poor review as we were there a few weeks beforehand (but I guess everyone can have bad days). We thought the hosts were lovely and were even allowed to feed the deer which was simply wonderful. I would say that we were there alone the first night which was great as on the second night we did feel a little too close to the guests in the other room. And I also struggled a bit with a lack of surface space to place anything on as well as curtains that didn't block any light out. However these are very minor niggles when you consider the whole room, fabulous shower, location and lovely breakfast. We thought the place was charming and very clean and had a very nice experience feeling somewhat privileged to have shared the experience of a deer farm and a little glimpse into the owners life's.

  Beautiful retreat close to town

  This is a beautiful guest house just outside Inverness. Rooms are beautifully decorated and setting is so tranquil. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle and to enjoy Scotlands nature. Lovely breakfast room and friendly, informative and attentive host.

  Lo siento, no me gustó nada

  Difiero de la mayoría de opiniones. Lugar aislado en el que me daba miedo de noche bajarme a abrir la verja para pasar con el coche. Sin wifi ni cobertura. La dueña era muy amable pero nos pidió que andáramos en calcetines y que cerráramos las puertas con llave todo el rato. El segundo día nos marchamos sin dormir allí. Motivo: después de un largo día en la Isla de Skye llegamos por la noche para encontrarnos dos botellas de agua y una nota explicando que no había agua. No nos podíamos duchar ni usar el baño! Nos hubiera gustado que nos llamaran o escribieran a lo largo del día para informarnos o darnos una opción. O que hubiera habido alguien pendiente para hablar con nosotros al llegar. El baño ideal pero la habitación no me gusto tampoco, ni la cama. No lo recomiendo.

  Dinichean House is a MUST stay!

  Once again my husband & I stayed at Dinichean House and were not disappointed. Carol & Trevor are excellent hosts. They made us feel so welcome once again, greeting us with smiles and hugs upon arrival. At the last minute we had to juggle our room around because of family coming over to see us while on holiday and Carol was able to accommodate our us with no problem. The food was excellent as always, as well has having a nice verity to choose from. Our room as well as bathroom was very spacious and clean. Both Carol & Trevor gave us ideas of things that we may want to do or see if we had the time. Also what local restaurants would be good. Trevor let us come feed some of the Red Deer that they have on their property. What beautiful animals! Again what's nice about staying at Dinichean House is that you are with in 10-15 minutes of downtown Inverness, close but not too close. This is our go to place when we are on holiday in Inverness. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
