I stayed for two weeks at the Eberl while working in nearby Poing. The staff were excellent, attending to my room late in the day while I worked at night. English language is limited here, but the friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent breakfast are fine recompense. The Eberl is a Pension, which means that evening meals are not catered for. However, there is ample opportunity to eat nearby. I had a hire car during my stay, and this was very valuable. Highly recommended.

Quiet modern Hotel attached to an old Gasthaus
I guess a lot of people use this Hotel as a business stopover, but the Eberl provides excellent accommodation, a good breakfast and a restaurant with excellent local food and drink for anyone wishing to visit this area of Bavaria. A good sized room has the basics. Friendly service and comfort await you and do eat at the restaurant -many locals do. If I had to mention cons then lack of a guest lounge area or a bar area seemed strange given the restaurant. You possibly could be outside, but in July the hail storm put us off. We stayed for three nights visiting Augsburg, Oberammergau, Landsberg and Schloss Kaltenburg.
