  A wonderful place to stay

  I was reading the reviews regarding this place and saw lot of negatives reviews but I still wanted to try it and exprience it. It was one night stay before we head to Simala Shrine, looking for a decent place to stay with an ocean view. I found this Ermi Resort, if you are looking for a quite, peaceful place away from the busy downtown, this is the perfect place. Me and my mom loved this place, the owner and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. Our room is just in front of the beach, a wonderful view specially when you wake up in the morning. I wonder why people write rude reviews about this place, maybe they are not reading that the place is quite far from the Whale shark area. The price is reasonable for a decent room with aircon and clean restroom. I highly reccommend this.

  Peaceful Place

  I stayed here with my family for just one night. PROS: The place is generally peaceful, the people are polite and helpful. CONS: Our room is quite old, the door needs replacement as it drags to the floor when you open it, also the door knob is loosen, maybe it needs to be adjusted, tightened or replaced. The room price is not cheap for its shape. But all in all, it maybe quite enough for just an overnight stay.

  Don't believe what you see on their website.

  I would strongly suggest you verify everything with the reception before booking this resort. The website is very outdated. The rooms are old and needs a lot of renovation, to the point that the water coming out from toilets for flushing are already yellowish. The AC's in almost all of the rooms we booked are not functioning properly. The restaurant area is fairly clean and new, I'd rather stay in the restaurant than in the rooms. The staffs are very accommodating but their hands are tied and needs to ask permission every time guests have requests(normal requests you'd get from guests in resorts) Would I book again? Unfortunately I won't.

  good location and view

  The resort has a wonderful view and a nice saltwater pool. The rooms, however, need a lot of attention. The first room we got on the 2nd floor had problems with the door. Even if you lock it you can still open it from outside. There was no TV remote so we had to ask for one which did not work. We decided to pay for an upgraded room which was nicer but the TV remote also did not work. There were no more staff at past 8PM so no one could help us with our concern. They have several rooms but not enough parking space. Staff were generally courteous but needs to pay attention to detail. When I checked out and settled the incidental charges, I realized they billed me twice for dinner. I had to call their attention and thankfully they corrected my bill. Also, several spots in the resort have very poor phone/internet signal.

  World class service

  At our recent trip to PI we stayed at this quaint ocean side property for a over night visit. We were gaurded because we had a terrible experience at a much larger a d way more expensive hotel in Cebu City the night before. We could not have been happier with the level of care that Rob (the owner) and his staff provided. We felt like we were hanging out with family as we spent hours laughing and sharing stories. They went way beyond anything we expected to make us feel valued and cared for. The rooms are modest, nothing fancy, but clean, affordable and comfortable. The food and drinks were amazing. We left feeling energized by the experience and incredibly grateful that kind people like Rob, Evelyn and John John and Andrew continue to exist. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
