Be warned! They've aimed for a stylish feel with this hotel, and as a result have achieved absolute zero in substance and quality. What little finish there is is really just skin deep, this is not a purpose built hotel, but just a converted floor of an office building in a quietish neighbourhood, further from the Jing-An centre than it wants you to know. It is similar to a 'Korean Love Motel' in feel, barely nothing more than a place to rent a room for an hour or two if you are that way inclined. The result is you get paper thin walls, that do nothing to mask neighbouring rooms activities, doors CONSTANTLY slamming all day and night (I know this is a typical Chinese thing of which 99% of this hotels clientèle are, perhaps they don't mind this so much) Noise echoes around from the elevators, hallways, doors, showers and plumbing, furniture, televisions etc with nothing stopping it meaning you'll be aware of everyone's movements and actions whether you like it or not. A room that doesn't deliver on what it reportedly contains, my 'VIP Room' came with no desk, no fridge, and not even a window, the staff working at the hotel, just a girl behind a desk at reception spoke no English, neither did the other 3 I saw over my 2 night stay, the phone was passed to me with an English speaker on the other end who promised to fix my problems, with 'sorry we're fully booked tonight you can change rooms tomorrow' which the next morning turned into 'sorry come back in an hour' which after an hour was 'come back in another hour' there is nothing in the way of customer service here. Quiet how this hotel is available to be booked on the large 'western' branded websites is beyond me. Another delightful surprise was the construction work that started directly above my room at 6am on a Sunday, constant hammer drills and sledgehammers until I checked out at noon. No warning, no explanation, no apologies.

Poor Condition and Poor Value HotelThe photo on the website it misleading. The rooms look much worse and the saddest thing was that the room was stinky and unclean. I had to stay one night in Shanghai so I tried this hotel. I was greatly disappointed. The location was also not as convenient as i like. The path leading to the elevator requires bringing your luggage up about 10 steps. I have a heavy luggage so this was undesirable. However, on my check-in, the staff was willing to help.
