  do not spend your money on this hotel bed should be threw out carpets r dirty and when you complain no one speaks English they r just a joke food was the worst I have had anywhere dinning room tables were dirty

  Quite, Clean Hotel

  WE ARRIVED AT FENIX HOTEL, SUNNY BEACH, BULGARIA, AROUND 2:30am in morning, Check-in straight forward, Clean Rooms. In-expensive Drinks in Resorts Bars, Restaurants etc. Very Cheap Clothing & Gifts. .

  Looks good but false impresions.

  We are just back from 2 weeks at this hotel,we arrived on 29th August late evening,our first impression was what a lovely hotel and what a lovely room we had,we soon learned that was the only good thing about it,the food was dreadful,and repetitive, cold food,if you could call it food,im sure prisoners would get better food in prison,as items of food was gone it wasnt replaced, we always book 2 weeks away but after 5 days here we wished we hadnt ,you shouldnt have to pay to go out to other restaurants if you had half board in the hotel,,i would not recommend this hotel,the staff never smile or speak,the waiting staff if you can call them that,stood or leaned against the wall with their arms folded,felt like we were prisoners. They didnt have uniform,they were in ripped jeans,tops and trainers,Some guests were as bad,even though serving tongs were provided they were picking up bread,with there hands,also one man was picking through the fruit and squeezing plums to see if they were soft and throwing them back.,the shower tray at side of swimming pool is disgusting and we never saw it cleaned during the 2 weeks there,the only person who spoke and had a friendly smile was Tina in the pool bar,ir says on the patio door,no Lifegaurd on duty,but there was one if you can call him one,he sat under an umbrella all morning and slept on a sunbed all afternoon, plus we were told by a few people he couldnt swim,sunbeds are broken you are lucky if you get one ,the only good sun umbrella is the one the lifeless guard uses,,i have been lucky to travel to lots of places around the world,but i would never recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy,

  Stay well clear

  Stay well clear of this hotel, Restaurant, food is repetitive and cold ,it's not fit for human consumption, staff in the restaurant are rude and scruffy in there dress, and good morning or good evening from them is a no no .Reception staff, they are lolling around with their mobile phones instead of attending to your concerns, Lobby barman, we go walking in the morning around 6.30am, Every morning found the barman asleep on the settee in the bar, he must sleep there after his shift. Pool area, hotel has a notice saying , "no lifeguard ", then you find there's a guy that presents himself as one,however all he does is sits on his backside all morning and sleeps on a sunbed in the afternoon for 3hours, if a young lady is on her own he will be chatting her up most of the day, we found out that he cannot swim, can you believe it, he's a liability. Sunbeds and parasols are mostly broken however his are has a perfect set. Beach , very sandy with massive people congregating on it , so not much room, my advice stay well clear of this hotel and the Pomerie which is next door and owned by the same people, you have been warned

  I would go back to the Fenix

  I recommend this hotel to anyone who are looking for a clean hotel with excellent staff, in Sunny beach. I stayed at the Fenix with my son and his family, the beginning of August. The hotel is clean and airy. Very friendly helpful staff. The rooms are big, clean and well appointed. I would also like to thank all the staff who came to my assistant, and got me to hospital ASAP, when I had a fall. I will definitely use this hotel again.
