Lovely hotel but NOT in ChengduWe enjoyed our stay here and the opportunity to discover the museum town of Anren, but it is at least a solid HOUR outside of Chengdu proper. (We were staying with SPG points and ended up switching to the Chengdu Sheraton for our second and third nights.) So, if you're in town to see pandas or need to transit elsewhere, keep that in mind. If you're just looking for a place to unwind and relax, then this hotel is great. Nice pool (indoor, swim caps required), a pretty sizeable playground (though too hot for our kids to use when we visited in July), and we enjoyed dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, too. To actually get to Chengdu from Anren: We took a tuktuk to the bus station (5RMB, about 10 minutes) and then a bus to Chengdu (15RMB, about an hour), but that just gets you to Cha Dian bus station on the western edge of town. To get to our hotel in the center of town, it took another hour by metro (subway is Di Tieh in Chinese, 4RMB).

Noisy and not well maintainedQuite new hotel but not maintained well. Had to change rooms (broken A/C, lights , safety deposit box not working, balcony door locks not working). Service staff does not really care. In-room parties and on balconied; noisy guests throughout the nights. Quite disappointing for a Sheraton.

Nice Landscape and good locationI just stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Anren on December 7-8, 2017 in order to visit both Anren old town and Xiling Snow Mountain. This hotel is nice landscape, good environment with fresh air and good location. Room is large and clean with comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and very helpful to manage my trip to Xiling Snow Mountain. Although, some staff can speak English a little bit but they try to help me without hesitate. Many thanks for your service-mind between my stay. Saowanee Wongphaet (Ms.)

The Best choice in AnrenThis is my second time staying in this property. It is the best resort choice around Chengdu. The location is perfect. The old town is just two minutes walk across the square in front of the hotel. The hotel is generous to SPG members. I was upgraded to a spacious and quiet suite. Two televisions was very crucial during the World Cup. The view from the balcony was lovely with trees and a pavilion. We went out most of the day for sightseeing. We tried blueberry picking, a suggestion from the front desk. It turned out to be a fun and unforgettable experience. I never ate like kilograms of blueberries before. We had two buffet breakfasts at the hotel. The first day was fine with decent food and warm service. The second day was a public holiday. We had to sit at a new dinning area with table from the Chinese restaurant. Waiters were also too busy to serve everyone. Apparently the guests number exceeded its capacity. Special thanks to GSM Shirley, who is professional and helpful. She phoned me a day before arrival and upgraded the room. When we left a piece of cloth in the room after checkout, she arranged express delivery so quickly that the package arrived home even faster than us.

Terrible experience. It's in the middle of the night I'm still awake due to the noise from upstairs and of course, WiFi doesn't work, no reception in the room either. Feels like there's NOTHING the staffs can do apart from giving us another ice-cold room, with kids running and shouting in the corridor. Not vegetarian friendly at all since they don't have most of their dishes on the menu, what a surprise. Breakfast is awful, hot juice and watery milk. Had problem while checking in as well, there was some guy phoning like 100 people to make sure we can stay here, left us standing outside by the dusty road for more than 15 minutes. Staffs are NOT HELPFUL AT ALL and VERY UNFRIENDLY. If that's how you treat your customers well I'm genuinely shocked. Will never come back here again. P.s. Check out the stain on the chair.
